Hi Jason I love your gold rings absolutely stunning they are they don’t make jewellery like they use to that is for sure. I love the silver book chain necklace so beautiful
Be still my heart! You love books too. I have many of the same books, but I think they are different editions. I have tried to become modern and use the internet, but nothing replaces a book. Loved the snake ring and garnets are one of my favorite stones. Your garnet pieces are just so elegant and warm looking that they make me want to just gaze at them for hours and the steel pieces are so steampunk chic to me. Amazing info about clasps that are replaced so the pieces are mistakenly identified. Oh my, that hair work necklace is amazing. The whole collection is amazing. Thank you.❤❤
The Scottish dirk was made by the company Adie & Lovekin in Chester, England, in 1843. They were known for making Scottish jewellery. I just thought I'd thrown in a little bit of info on it for you! I've learnt how to read a lot of the old English Hallmarks, so I'm pretty sure I've got the year right. ( The lion, definitely, and the Chester mark as well). This has been my absolute favourite video of yours so far, but all your videos are my favourites when it comes to learning about jewellery - especially antique jewellery. I think the rings you were wearing at the start of the video are gorgeous! And, if people want to argue over Georgian vs Victorian, just tell them, "Well, we can all agree on one thing - they're very old"!! If that doesn't help, then they're beyond help! Thanks for an amazing video Jason!! And congratulations on the 7k subscribers! 🎉🎉💖🥰😘🇭🇲
Thank you so much for the help! As soon as I saw the lion.....I knew it was English.. Looks exactly like the dirks from Scotland!!! AGAIN THANKS FOR STEPPING UP WITH THIS INFO....I thought I was crazy. 😆 ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Thank you again for showing us such wonderful jewelry. I especially liked the opal display pendent. I actually got arrested once for having a dirk once. It is illegal in California LOL. The hair necklace is stunning, although I cannot imagine getting my wild hair contained in a bead. Love you as always ❤️❤️❤️

georgian, victorian, into edwardian i'm so drawn to. i'm very eclectic in my taste of all things usually depending on my mood so when trying to explain the style of jewelry i like to someone ive said, a romantic gothic victorian hippie witch lol not sure what era that falls into but victorian def does it for me most of the time. that snake ring is amazing the artist that was able to get metal to mimic so closely the actual movement of a snakes body boggles my mind. loved the scent bottle and compact i have a weakness for things that hold other things probably why i collect lockets

@@jasonadams8633 no problem! A majority of Scottish styled jewellery pieces were actually made in England.

Thank you Valerie ♥️
georgian, victorian, into edwardian i'm so drawn to. i'm very eclectic in my taste of all things usually depending on my mood so when trying to explain the style of jewelry i like to someone ive said, a romantic gothic victorian hippie witch lol not sure what era that falls into but victorian def does it for me most of the time. that snake ring is amazing the artist that was able to get metal to mimic so closely the actual movement of a snakes body boggles my mind. loved the scent bottle and compact i have a weakness for things that hold other things probably why i collect lockets
