Commercial Structure Fire South G St San Bernardino

Incident Video Release: On January 8th, 2020 at 12:52am, SBCoFD responded to a commercial structure fire located at the 500 block of South G street in the City of San Bernardino. First arriving engine arrived in 6 minutes to find an abandoned large butler building , formerly Sears service center involved with fire. An aggressive interior attack was conducted, and the firefighters brought the fire under control in approximately 60 minutes. Truck crews supported this operation with vertical ventilation on the roof above. SBCoFD responded with 7 paramedic engines, 2 truck companies, 1 chief officer and 1 investigator for a total of 29 personnel. There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters reported. The cause is currently under investigation.
