The entirety of this song truly invokes the enchantment of the adventure. Hiking is a staple activity of mine, and that hike was super sick. After that, we had some stellar döner kebabs. 10/10: the day and the kebabs.
When he holds back like this, it's really enjoyable. Wish he would use this same mentality with his own music. Not necessarily singinging soft or using acoustic gtrs, just not playing at 100 all the time and doing the wildman shtick.

This the best performance from zakk. He kills sabbath live with his band with over the top riffs. I know its his version and I get that. But sabbath music needs light and shade. I think zakks voice is great especially during this acoustic version of NIB. A superb version and haunting. I just wish he'd stick to more of this style,plus shows his versatility

You should try training your ear with this song. I’m currently doing it and I absolutely love the challenge of learning. It’s not easy but it’s not too hard/almost impossible either.

I think it’s how he’s singing it. Ozzy just sings it like every other Sabbath song but Zakk gives a haunting voice with it.
