Can you use this stitch on a round loom for a blanket? Is the back just as pretty? Is the process the same, just stopping and going back around like on your other blanket tutorial?

Easy to follow, clear, and crisp instructions, camera well focussed on the project at hand, watch points and steps called out and notated with text, without mind numbing banter. Perfect video! Thank you!

Thank goodness for you Denise! I started loom knitting about 2 years ago and stumbled upon your tutorials at about that time. They are so easy to follow, but your techniques are so helpful. The slip stitch was always so time consuming but thanks to your tip, it takes the same amount of time as the purl stitch with A LOT less frustration. Thank you so much for your tutorials and keep up the good work♡

Hi, Denise! I'm a beginner. Like... I've only made 2 hats with a basic stitch. One wasnt that bad, but the other one was really loose. My question is, is this an adult had or a child hat? I'm wanting to make some nice (and easy) hats to donate to the maternity ward of our towns hospital. Does anyone know of an easier pattern? Or is the basic stitch pretty much the best one? I don't really like the "no brim" patten for boys because mine rolls up without a brim and I don't think it looks like something you'd give a boy. Am I doing it wrong? I could make a small brim, I guess? Thanks for any help you can give a true beginner.
PS, you're videos are super awesome and very beginner friendly. I've been saving a lot of videos from different channels, but you've got the best ones I've found on TH-cam. 💛

    • @LoomaHat

They should but most likely the pegs are closer together with that higher peg count so your fabric with be tighter - you may need to add more rows for an adult hat.

Hi Denise...love all your patterns! I would love to make this hat, using the Bernat Velvet Stripes yarn; will it work?

I believe thats a chunky #5 yarn and should work beautifully. 😊

WAW I came across this video by accident. But it's so easy I knit a lot but this is a nice change. It so simple!!! Is this for an adult or child? I saw a lot of different size rings and pegs. What size ring for what size hat???If I wanted to make this into a sloch hat I'd just continue the the same pattern until I get the length I want or is there another way?? Also for the 8 inch hat that you make how much yarn did you use?????

I am really new to all of this. I love your videos, you are an excellent teacher. My question is, could I use a color changing ball of yarn for this pattern?
