It's sad that 6 years passed and Trevor Morris never released the soundtrack for this scene, I never understood why he released the music from season 1 but not from the other seasons.
I know your comment is from 2 years ago. But this music is the same music that plays when Trevor faces Death in season 4. If you search "Trevor vs Death music" you'll find it. :)

@ 1:45 Alucard puts his hand on his chest and bows slightly, which he does as a sign of respect and courtesy. ( He does it in season 4 to Greta as she and her people enter his home, but with a much deeper bow) Even though he and Trevor always throw insults at each other, even after learning that Trevor was a vampire/monster hunter, he still showed such great respect for the Belmont’s line of work. I love that. I’d like to think that upon seeing the hold he instantly compared it to his father’s vast knowledge and libraries; you’d have to. No other knowledge source could compare to Dracula’s castle but The Belmont Hold. I love that the artists included this small gesture that only lasted a second. Makes the picture much bigger when you connect it all together. I love Alucard as a character so freaking much🥺❤️
Leon Belmont was once a Knight of the Catholic Church before he gave up his title in his hunt for a vampire named Walter Bernhard. Most fans know the events as Lament of Innocence. I still it the Eternal Night incident.
I was just starting to like this show at this point, but wasn't exactly sold on it. Then they entered the hold and that 20 foot portrait of Leon Belmont just towers over the entrance vestibule, and I was suddenly very determined to binge the rest of the show in that day. Damn it but LOI was my favorite entry in the series, and the creators paid a whopping homage to it by showing the founder of the Belmont clan as an intimidating, larger than life, almost mythical figure. One of my favorite moments in the whole series; would've been nice if we'd gotten a little bit more of the backstory about Mathias and Leon but I'm just happy with what we got.
I commented this under a different castlevania video, but it is still relevant. I find it sad that the history between Leon and Dracula is never brought up. They were best friends, and Mathias betrayed Leon. Leon went to Vallachia because he heard of his friend having gone there. He hunted Dracula just as he promised him, yet they never met again.
Fun little thing that made me flip, at 3:04, after Alucard says "Hunting Dracula", I think a very subtle tune from Lament of Innocence's soundtrack "House Of Sacred Remains" echos over the orchestral music, very brief, but there is no mistake that's a reference from it. Dunno if it really is, but it sounds a lot like it

@@hughjanus9847 I'm kinda new to CV but as far as I know Leon never revealed he was friends with Mathias with his decsendents so he may have never revealed he fought a vampire named Bernhard. May be they think Bernhard never existed and in his stead it was always Dracula from the very begining.
It sounds more like a woodwind instrument. I'm not 100% sure, so don't quote me on that. It could be an oboe or some lower pitched woodwind instrument.
@@mml97865 When I think about it you may be right, not shure if oboe since the pitch is to low but it might've been something like that. Knowing the composer it could be a combination of both a natural instrument and some digital alteration.
