Gen Narumi's Voice Actor is Koki Uchiyama, who's known for voicing Tomura Shigaraki, Meruem, Soul Eater Evans, Yuri "Yurio" Plisetsky, Toge Inumaki, Rin Itoshi, Akira Fudo (Devilman Crybaby), Roxas/Ventus (Kingdom Hearts) and many more.
Also he voiced Inumaki from Jjk and Sugishita from Wind Breaker too

@@jeqse4166 I don't have a problem with it, and i'm also a manga reader.
One thing I haven't seen a lot of people mentioning; they've added a LOT that wasn't in the manga! One of the few flaws imo of the manga was that as much as loved the character dynamics, worldbuilding, reliationships, etc, was that it all felt like it wasn't quite enough. I loved what was there, but the story rushed so fast that we missed out on more that could have been done, but the anime really allowed things to breathe when they needed to, and even in this episode added so many new things that made the hype moments mean even more!
I'll gladly take these additions to the story over crisper character designs any day of the week, and now that season two's been confirmed and has been getting a lot of support, maybe they'll up the designs as well! Anyway, so glad you enjoyed this show, thanks for the reactions!
for sure, i've seen some anime that leave moments out that can explain a lot and add a lot more story, but kaiju no 8 keeps them all and adds more, im so glad some of the side characters are getting more development, they feel like actual characters now.

It was So great that only downsides could lower my views on it an S1 Ive no downsides or negatives myself, Story, Great, Comedy, Great, Action, Great, Animation, Great, Characters, Great, Progression and Pace, Great, I just loved everything about it…
Not going to argue it over any other Anime but to me it was flawless and 100% cant wait for S2 and knowing whats to come its not slowing down anytime soon and at end of the day its just one of those series I pray never ends…

@@lonrea2886 This was his first scene in the manga as well. His introduction happens the chapter AFTER this episode ended on, so season 2 will have his proper introduction in the first episode.

Well for one, his hair is fucked. Starfish headed lookin ass. It's a lot more combed down and slicked back. I'm choosing to believe that it's helmet hair and that it's getting fixed next season.

Just to make things crazy Manga indirectly confirmed that this was nowhere near full power of Kaiju No 8. His fortitude was still rising before Kafka interfered in the fight. So yeah Kafkas Kaiju is crazy OP he just doesnt know how to use it
@@user-pm9ev3up5t Kaiju No. 8 is definitely not a force to be messed with. It still wasn't even at full power despite cooking Isao. Kafka even managed to save everyone this season without even reaching that strength yet. You really did make things crazy. Once Kafka truly unlocks his true potential, he'll probably be the strongest Kaiju since No. 9 is on par with him or probably a bit stronger at this point in the manga.😅
@@DabiIsMyUnstableBrother Only thing i am sad about is that manga pretty much implied that Kafka will never get a happy ending because because of his continuous usage of Kaiju Power he will eventually lose his humanity as well as he wont be able to transform back into a human

I had basically zero knowledge of Kaiju No. 8. I've been watching Demon Slayer (and it's my number 1 anime for me), but last month Kaiju No. 8 popped up and I clicked on the first episode. Got totally hooked since then. Another great anime!!

Michael I want to apologize. I hyped up Gen Narumi saying he will become your 2nd favorite character, but they butchered his design. He looks nothing like how he does in the manga, idk what they did our boi. God I love Kaiju no 8 anime, but that Narumi design really really stings. I hope they fix it in S2.

Michael Angelo what a wild and epic ride with your astute yet fun reaction (lemme stop the glaze....lol). I was baffled at how many reactors who couldn't identify the guy with the necklace in Giomei's backstory in demon slayer s04e08. This is why u are the best, no cap.
Simce all the anime's are now ending let me glaze and hype the potential of next season's arc. Did u take note of the guy (Narumi) who was about to shish kebbab kafka with the giant swordlike weapion. Well he will blow you to oblivion (no diddy ......pause ......lol)
So no spoilers but below are my subjective rankings for the strongest in the verse:
1/2 No 8 and 9 are basically top two of the verse (personal preference kafka takes top spot)
3/4. Gen Narumi or Isao Shimonya (flip a coin on that) - for me, Narumi probably third
5/6/7 Mina, Honshina and Kikoru are pretty busted but they could be interchangeable (but for me this order is just fine)
Honourable mention:
Reno has a pretty strong power now but he lacks the feats to actually prove himself against a number kaiju but he could be on the same level of the other three above
So sad it finish 😢but what an anime i have never watched reaction before but it shows how well this anime is doing

Kaiju no 8 really is a great anime to watch this season but sadly its finished. One of the animes i looked forward to on weekends hahaha. Fortunately, season 2 was announced yey! 🎉

Manga updates 2 chap or sometimes 1 chap each months. Season 2 is already announced. We'll probably have huge gap in future for additional season coz at some point it'll catch up to manga.
I know this'll be get season 2 but theres another anime I'm waiting for, Dandadan it'll released on October but I can't wait for it! I'm sure you'll like it too😅

Who cares about what the council thinks. What counts is nobody among the Defense Force considers Kafka as a monster. They are the first line of defense and putting their lives on the line. Having Kafka as their comrade increases their chances of survival.

I have readed 47 chapters of kaiju no 8.
And anime covered (38 chapters). I only watch anime but i was so excited and readed 9 extra chapters means 47 chapter.
So how many episodes of season 2 will cover it
