The only down side for this episode was the difference between the manhwa and the episode, in the manhwa one of the prisoners was still alive after Jin killed Kang and Jin dragged the prisoner into the boss room and let the boss and its adds massacre him before finishing the dungeon
Michael is the only reactor that genuinely listens and understands everything when it comes to given information, most people just skim read everything and only care about hype and fights, glad theres reactors out here that care about comprehension whilst still giving off a hype reaction

IF this was actually a Dragon Ball refference, it wasn't done as an homage for Akira Toriyama's death (I see SO many people misinterpret that) The animation would have been done long before his death. Still, Rest in peace the GOAT Akira Toriyama.

There's a deleted scene in which, on the way to the boss room he notices that one of the prisoners is still alive so he takes him along, and throws him towards the boss, and sees the boss and the remaining goblins kill and eat him mercilessly
I'm not sure why they didn't use that scene. Maybe it was a bit too much, showing just how much brutality Jinwoo's capable of now? I think they should have left it in.
Probably going to happen next episode in a flashback. If you watch back in the episode you can see that the criminal who was fed to the goblins still has pupils showing in his eyes. The other 2 criminals just have blank eyes. So it seems they've hinted that he's playing dead. If this is an intentional easter egg and not an animation mistake I applaud A-1 for that.
The animators are very passionate about solo leveling. Not only solo leveling but anime in general. The tribute of late dragon ball creator shows their dedication and remorse.
Saying they are passionate about the anime is a huge overstatement. I just reread the manhwa and the anime art is such a fucking downgrade. They also removed the scene with jin woo throwing that rapist prisoner to be killed by the goblins.
@@calebstephan2083bro you need to understand that a manga is just an artstyle and also manhwa usually dosen't get adaptation from japanese studios...at normal circumstances it should be get in bilibili hands...like link clicks...so there are a difference in art style cause both of this arted by different persons...but in the meantime a-1 pictures adopt this manhwa very smartly so those who only watched anime also can be able know what's happening and also those of veterans also enjoy it...that's why they added some parts from ln and additional from their own...and also delete some things so people can relate...kang is not originally that person who came to test his reawaking test...but they swap him and make it relatable...so afterall as a old manhwa reader who read this manhwa 2times i can surely say that a-1 done a pretty good stuff...

Murderous Megumi! Some beautiful colour palettes in this episode. Loved the representation of Jinwoo’s emotions going out like the blue flame from the dungeon where he sacrificed his life. You can see the gap between the rank the hunters originally have through SUNG’s fights in the future, and that’s why they always say that’s impossible for the lower ranks being able to defeat the higher ranks.
It doesnt show him defeating the dungeon boss in the manwha, so it makes sense they skip it here too. I cant believe they made this mid level fight go this hard. This will be anime of the year 2024 1000% 🔥

The problem is the gap in power from B10 to A1 is quite big since A rank is rare S ranks are ultra rare. The power gap from A10 to S1 is larger than all the other ranks combined.

This was such a great episode, I loved it. Makes me hyped for the remaining season❤ Just something extra. In the manhwa, one of the prisoners survived Kang's attack and pretended to be dead. After Jinwoo killed Kang and sent Joohee out, he took that prisoner to the boss room and basically fed him to the goblins before defeating the boss. It was quite cathartic because the prisoner was the one who assaulted the daughter. Regardless, can't wait for your reactions.

The one of the interested seen is not animated that one of the prisoner is alive from kangs attack after sang killed taeishik he going to boss room and said that murderer to stop acting. And nxt seen is so interesting
