Truly one of the best seasonal/holiday albums ever. Last year we had Kate Bush's 50 Words for Snow and now Tracey has graced us with Tinsel and Lights. Thank you, Tracey!
Tracey has this English British accent that I could easily understand...I'm so glad! Coz there are others whom you can't understand what they are saying . THis is so satisfying to watch.
I was hesitant on buying this album because I like old fashion Christmas music, but just bought it last month. Its quite enjoyable. Tracey's voice is Angelic, and when she works with Ben it becomes magic to the senses. Love Every song on this album EXCEPT Track 5, and 7 In the cold cold night and Snow in Sun.
Still my all time favourite Christmas album - one I can live with every winter season - it's sentimental, with a warm fuzzy feeling - but sometimes feels like a cold winter too. Great selection of songs, not all about Xmas. Just wonderful. I loved seeing how the tracklist came together, the arrangements, transforming the home recordings. True treasure.
1984, the year everything but the girl came into my life, and Tracey has been with me ever since. Brought every single album, and all Tracey’s solos. Christmas album was fabulous xx
Best X-mas record in years! "Maybe this Cristmas" is a great version of the Ron Sexsmith song and "Tinsel and Lights" creates a similar feeling like in the "Fairytale of New York" by late Kirsty MacColl and the Pogues
I absolutely love this woman's voice! She brings her songs alive.

Tracy looks and sounds so much more comfortable in her skin than she did 20 years ago. Maturity is such a wonderful gift! I adore her.

Agree with Cold, Cold Night. I always skipped it when I played the CD. Love the rest of them.

I love you Tracey. I have been your fan since 1994. Cheers from Costa Rica.
What a uniquely wonderful voice. She just gets better.
Thank you for this holiday record. I just came to it... even though it’s after Xmas it came at the right time
This woman is fantastic. The fact that Green from Scritti Politti guests on this album makes it a MUST BUY for me.

Can you ever have too many sleighbells? Very much looking forward to hearing the whole album soon.
1:55 to 2:10. Well said.
Who was the one person who tapped a thumbs down? Lol
Probably Ben Watt...Just confirming his 'disapproval' of a whole Christmas album! 😉
Not religious but God is seen, heard, felt in your gifts
She is surely a great part of The Story.
Sad, even Tracey Thorn is a victim of Vertical Video Syndrome! Turn your damn phone on it's side!
