I downloaded the stock OS image for my Nvidea Shield tablet from Nvidea. But there are many .img files in the zip download. There is recovery.img, boot.img, system.img, userdata.img, and staging.img. I formatted my SD card in Windows first but when I try them PhoenixCard does not recognize any of those .img files. Is there a different .img file?
What if you did the firmware upload and it worked, but now the tablet is stuck at the android logo again? Firmware fix doesn't work twice. Thank you!
The video was very helpful. Thanks to it, I was able to reactivate my old Denver 70041 tablet. Great content, everything was explained step by step. The first time didn’t go well because it turned out that the SD card, which worked fine with the laptop, didn’t want to boot on the tablet. After replacing the SD card, everything worked out.

PhoenixCard cannot format the card and create image. I formatted through windows but it still shows an error and won't create the image. Ideas?

Thank you everything worked fine. i was having trouble in that error you said when trying bunr the ROM in the sd card. what i did was format it as FAT32 on windows and than click directly BURN without format to normal and it worked . thanks man

I've been waiting for this method for some time on how to flash the OS using memory card......thnx bro cool and very informative ,did 7 tablets already all worked,please plp like Mr. Gardener says if the flashing tool gets an error while formatting your sd card don't panic just go in my pc and format manually there i recommend uncheck the quick format box then click format....blessings

mojkanal Yes but at this point this is your only viable option. Anything on your memory card is safe though.

GM bro, I have downloaded 2 different sets of firmware but they both contain multiple files and they are not img but iso files eg. boot, recovery, cache etc. I have tried sp flash tools, livesuit and phoenix card but the firmware I have downloaded seems not to be compatible with any of these software, so i am thinking that the firmware are fake or something. so far everything has gone accordingly, but the install gets about roughly 5% and doesn't go any farther, that's noticeable anyway. how long should it take on average?
Steven Poptart Boyd Not too long a few minutes. You sometimes have to recreate the memory card or check the firmware as if there is an issue it might not complete

Dear Ricardo, i finally found the solution thanks to you, since none of other forums shows a way to solve this problem. However, can i find the necessary *.img file for my Asus ME301T Android tablet? The official firmware is in *.zip folder which has blob file with no *.img file. Can i find it without looking inside of the tablet?
Derya Yücel You will need to look inside as even if the tablets look alike they can be quite diffrent and the files are very hard to find so yes. All files are provided on the website.
