Bro, your channel has become a comfort watch even when I've already set up the emulators I need (thanks to you). Please keep this kinda content coming - greatly enjoy these.
The Xbox version of Burnout 3: Takedown had support for custom soundtracks. That means even the slow down for your own music worked very well during gameplay. Any way to achieve the same or similiar experience these days with emulation? Playing Burnout with your personal soundtrack adds an unique charm to the experience.
Yea, true. I was nervous making this video and getting a copyright strike for the music in some of these games. Had to remember to turn off the music while recording gameplay, lol.
Nice video! Just to add from my own experience. Games you showed like NFS Most Wanted, NFS U2 or Test Drive Unlimited came out on PC as well and look way better than being emulated on PS2 due to low res PS2 textures that are being upscaled to higher res. Also native PC versions run way smoother on lower spec PC's than the emulated PS2 games so i would recommend to play those 3 games as native PC releases. They work on both Windows 10 and 11 and if someone likes to mod there is a wide variety of graphical mods for NFS games and you can even add extrra cars that were not originally in the game.
I will have to give some of these a second chance…. my number 1 racing game was Need for Speed Underground 2 and I really couldn’t get into some other racers that I sampled… good picks in this vid! Some I have never played or heard of.
Richard Burns Rally, Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero, Test Drive: Off Road Wide Open, GT 3, MotoGP, Riding Spirits, CMR 3, CMR 04, WRC, WRC Extreme to name some that got played a lot back in the day.
I used to think Burnout Revenge looked next gen on Xbox 360, but then I found out the PS2 version looks just as good, making it one of the most graphically impressive PS2 games of all time. Honestly, it ironically looks better on PS2, because the bloom wasn't quite as bad as it was on Xbox 360, which makes a big difference in visibility. And I'm glad to hear it's playable on PCSX2, thanks to recent updates. Too bad Ford Racing 2 still suffers from graphical bugs outside of software mode and bad performance within software mode. Makes me wish they ported it to Steam when they did the same with Ford Racing 3.
I never really spent much time on Burnout Revenge back then maybe because I played too much of Burnout 2 and 3 already. Burnout 3 - Takedown is my favorite BO games. Thanks to this emulator, (PCSX 2) we can go back I play these old games again. I just played Burnout 3, 4 and Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 with HD Texture pack, all 3 games hold up very well and looks amazing on my monitor at 1440p. For NFS, you can unlock the framerate to 60, which is much better then the original PS2 hardware.
Pretty good list. Although PS2 was by far my least favorite and least used system of the generation, its generation had a lot of great racing games, many multi-platform. This list seems to be a pretty good one. I played most racing games on Xbox at the time, but Gran Turismo was a series that every car enthusiast should have had in their collection. Although not necessarily on PS2, I really liked Speed Devils and the original Tokyo Xtreme Racer on Dreamcast. I feel like the Dreamcast doesn't get enough historical recognition, being of the same generation.
video idea; top 10 best games to emulate on ps2 or any other console. Instead of specific games like racing or beat em up, you could do all in your opinion
Nice list. If anyone, like me, likes the style of Auto Modillista but can't stand the loose handling, try the Japanese version, they stuffed the other versions deliberately trying to tweak the difficulty.
Man shout out this channel 💯💯💯and is there a way to emulate Xenia through OpenGL instead of vulkin or D13 bc that’s how I normal run my emulators and I’m trying to play Bully Scholarship edition so bad? 😂
where do i get games/roms i remember i used to get them from a red website that had emulator game downloads and it was from you or some one help me find it
As much as I love Need for speed 2, I could never figure out how to get rid of the ghosting or very blurry screen when speeding up. makes the game nearly unplayable because of it.

Thanks, and that was my point. I have to stay some what relevant until my updated 2025 guides come out, lol.
hey man you have any socials to help me with roms im trying to get midnight club 3 dub remix but i cant seem to make it work
2004 crash n' burn is also a hidden gem of a racing game, the intro alone gives you a great idea what to expect
Shox is another hidden racing gem, which was part of the EA Sports Big line of games from the time.
@@Cyberbrickmaster1986 sounds dope imma check it
wow man can't believe i didnt see Juiced 2 : hot import nights on this list, personally number 1 for me and still love playing it.
Nothing against Juiced 2, but I just didn't enjoy it as much as I did these 10.
@@UrCasualGamer fair enough, surprised theres no mention of tokyo extreme racer as well
@@BuiltnotBought69 Extreme Racer Zero was one of my absolute favorites back in the day.

Honestly wayy better list than I thought, great choices
Great lists! Thanks for the nostalgia trip!
The music in Midnight Club 3 was some of the best in a game ever

You need to checkout Downhill Domination. Thats my favorite

True, but this is for the ones that don't want to pay for a game, if you know what I mean. 😅

Great idea to add SSX Tricky to the list. What a fantastic game that was/is.👍🇮🇪
Yea it's great

Yo I had some sick looking cars on NFSU2!!
Richard Burns Rally, Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero, Test Drive: Off Road Wide Open, GT 3, MotoGP, Riding Spirits, CMR 3, CMR 04, WRC, WRC Extreme to name some that got played a lot back in the day.
Test Drive: Eve of Destruction, Crash n Burn, Shox, Flatout 1 & 2, Need for Speed Underground and WRC Rally Evolved are also worthy of a mention too.
NFSMW 2005 best game in the series hand's down imo, I also really liked Carbon.
Most Wanted is my Favorite Racing Game of all time

O, it doesn't bother me
Moter Sport Erratic Edge 🥲
Why xbox emulation is far behind any PS emulations?
Really not just more people wanna emulate PlayStation because of the exclusives
No love for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit? Boooooo!! 😅😅
It was ok, but like I said, I usually don't even include multiple games from a series. I try to only choose the best one.
Its 2024 and bro is uploading gameplay videos in 30 fps…
It's actually 60fps 1080p from pcsx2
@@UrCasualGamer i know but you video is rendered in 30 fps, thats a real shame
best console is dreamcast xD
Probs best Sega console. It’s not even the best console of it’s generation though.
