Extra tip: if you use the Asset Picker then there is a "tree" that's actually _random_ trees of either wild or cultivated type. Select this and then 100% density on the place multiple brush, and you get either wild tree coverage or park tree coverage. If you want to really go to town (or the countryside) with it, use the developer settings (aka TAB menu) to adjust the brush size all the way up to 11 (actually it's 1500, unless the last update tweaked it)
I really appreciate the effort you put into these videos, these tips are invaluable! I'm going to start learning how to use developer mode for the extra props, kinda wish the cars and citizens actually used them though, for example cars parking at parking decals or do they?
"lazo - Tutorials & Gameplay" posted a video on removing water sources and this method works with the invisible pedestrian paths. Recommend watching the video but the basics are: Open developer menu, under Gameplay enable Show markers, under Simulation make sure Active tool is set to "Default Tool" and enable Debug toggle. The invisible path should appear. Select the segment you want to delete then fo to UI Bindings and expand "ActionsSection" and click delete.

Awesome tip! I use the wild bush and cultivated bush version of this all the time!
Appreciate the tips! Started to list my favorites but realized they are all great tips.
Haha I appreciate that! Glad you liked it!

Unfortunately they don't. For now. I imagine this will be able to be modded in at some point, I think the tools are there.

Ohhhh neat! Thank you for this 😃
Great tips!
Glad you like them!
Great video, expecially the invisibles pedestrians paths.
Thanks! I appreciate that! :D
What's roughly the impact on game performance from using developer mode, and the mods you mentioned?
I honestly haven't really noticed much of an impact at all. Maybe a couple fps but nothing major at all
Thanks a lot. I appreciate the tips.
You're welcome!
Developer Mode is the main reason why i already have over 300 hours in Cities Skylines 2 😂
Haha that's impressive! I don't think I'd enjoy the game nearly as much without it!
Good tips. Don't know how to delete the invisible path.
Question, do you now how to delete the surface decals? Kind regards.
Absolutely, you just right click on the nodes, same way you would with the industry areas!
Thanks.
Is it a mod that u can put bushes and trees close to each other?
Yep it's called Anarchy
