Yeah, most of the plot points and lore were dropped in the 2nd half of the games, adding to the half baked feel of them, definitely looking forward to the story of ZA if it's written even half as well as Arceus
I want either Mega Meganium or a regional form for it. Ideally a regional form so that what it gets isn't tied to a gimmick that might get dropped again. Although a Mega Evolution could be fun too because Mega Meganium is just fun to say.

I'm not one of the people who's been complaining for years about Megas being gone (in fact, those people were so annoying that I kinda starting trolling them over it to spite them), but it still will be cool to get Megas back, and getting both a Regional and Mega form would be awesome. Although, I kinda doubt they will do both for the initial starters, because they might see that as too much for one set of Pokemon for one game. Maybe you get one set of starters that get regional forms, and then later you get a second set that has new Mega Evolutions like they did back in XY? So maybe you get regional forms for the set you pick from at the start, then you're allowed to pick from a second set of starters later that all get new Megas? That way you kinda get double the new versions of starters without all of it being concentrated on just three of them.
@@MoostachedSaiyanPrince On the flipside, I've never liked Megas haha! I think they're imbalanced and often very lazily designed, both from a gameplay and even visual standpoint. That said, I'm fine with them coming back, so long as they're given to Pokemon that need them to become viable, while not being ridiculously overpowered (and if they look cool, that's a bonus)

Plus the constant whining from the Mega Stans really started getting under my skin over time. That's why it's called Pokemon Legends Z-A because its usually takes place before the original game comes up. The holographic presentation is just a blueprint for redeveloping the urbanize Lumiose City. The key words here we know it's before XY is the "A Vision of beautiful coexistence between people and Pokemon..." means that there are still conflict with the relationship if pokemon and humans. Modern eras are now getting along with pokemon but here it's to coexist. Also not a coincidence that they choose Kalos after Paldea because Paldea is a representation of Spain so it's near France which Kalos is based on. Not gonna be surprised if they mentioned Paldea and Galar (representation of UK) because they were in war before. actually Paris, France got a redevelopment plan in the 1850s like literally they demolished many buildings and ended the redevelopment plan by 1889 by finishing the Eiffel Tower last. It's possible for a future Kalos but it wouldn't feel like Legends if it's like that to be honest.
So just a theory, but my guess is that Legends Z-A will be based on the construction and completion of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France from 1887 to 1889. Which would make sense, given that Kalos’ tower in Lumiose City IS based on the Eiffel Tower.

I don't think we were taught anything outside of those topics. But I'd like to try and educate myself with reading materials online or from the local library. But those theories could work out in the upcoming Legends game.

No-one expected Kalos Legends but the wide majority of people are happy about it and for good reason. I was just hoping for ONLY one spinoff so that they have plenty of time to work on Gen 10 which will probably release on the 30th anniversary since that's a big milestone, as is the double-digits generation (Gen 5 got special treatment just for being a multiple of 5!). "New Legends" would work for Bingo Sheet but if you added on a region I don't think many people put Kalos. Yeah Gen 5 remakes is something I was worried about them pushing early due to everything going on, but this definitely isn't when they'd be scheduled. The only odd-numbered Gen that had a remake release (not including spinoff remakes like Let's Go) was Gen 3 because it was the first one, now it's every even generation. I have a feeling this game takes place in the future and not the past because it says redevelopment plan not developement plan and I know Z-A is the title but thinking about it having it backwards makes it seem like a squel to xy not a prequel and we will probably still have AZ and flowet but also have the decendents of pokemon characters like maybe clemonts decendents or a grown up bony as the lumiose gym leader the possibilities are endless.
They already confirmed it on the website as ZA. Although even if they didn't, the Z appears before the A in the trailer, so I don't think there was much to debate over in the first place.

that... isn't what that means at all. It means it's a global release, not staggered by region. It means EVERYWHERE is getting it at once, which is can see how that's confusing because Pokemon games have for a LONG time, but it IS an important distinction.

Maybe Pokémon’s recent output has made me cynical but even to they’re giving themselves an extra year I think at best we are going to get a game that’s similar to legends arceus/scarlet and violet but just finished. I don’t think they’re going to improve on them tho. Even if scarlet and violet were polished to perfection they’d still have a boring ass world with nothing to do in them. But regardless of it’s quality you know game freak is gonna roll in money after it’s release
A fully finished legends game actually sounds like a great game. Arceus was great for all its faults but if they gave themselves more time I could have been even better
