  • Hi!
No music. No talking. Just work.
If you are taking your Acer Aspire V3-771G laptop apart be careful and wear an anti-static wrist band or use other anti-static device. If you need to change a LCD usually you don't have to take screen out of a laptop. You can leave it on a laptop and watch the last part of the video where I am taking LCD apart. If you need to change a keyboard, you don't have to take all bottom screws out. There are usually some marks, like a keyboard picture, on a case bottom. If you need to put a laptop back to work be aware of screws. They are different and you better remember or mark them somehow to insure that you will put them back in to a right place.
Some laptops I take apart first time, so don't be serious on my time and performance.
If something got broken - ooops, it's your fault.
Believe me, some parts in your laptop are already broken, you just don't see that.
    Have fun and good luck!!

I'm gonna guess that the cpu is in fact upgradable based on this video

It can be a bit tricky but essentially I would say that if for this particular laptop and it's modification you can see I am removing the CPU, that means that in this particular model/version etc you can remove cpu. There are plenty examples where manufacturers creating laptops and some models could have some differences. In some instances you would have a similar looking laptop but one will have some less powerful CPU and will not have a fan :) To avoid a mistake I would check motherboard part number (sometimes not easy to find this number and after that search on eBay for similar motherboard. Also (maybe, never had to research it) maybe within bios or via CMD you might find what exact processor was used and maybe distinguish if it is removable or not.
Upgradable or not is not just a physical possibility to swap it, but also if heatsink and fan will support more heat (unless downgrade which is mostlikely not the case :))
