Why? There's a population collapse coming. I'm more worried about stocking up on hidden food caches than hiding my (soon not to exist anymore) internet profile.
Our societies have embraced human sacrifice aka abortion. Our societies have replaced family and religion with materialism and self-centrism. When you see many people care more about animals than other humans, you know that society is morally degenerate. There is no going back. Only awaiting the collapse and rebuilding from the ground up.
Human civilization is artificial, and that means it's split from nature. We first need to live with nature not against it, not harming it, not using it for short period profit that harms the future.
Let me get this right. They study 12 hours a day every single day, to get a good job, where they'll work 12 hours a day 6 days a week... Why? It's an exercise in futility, there's no point, what are you getting paid for? To eat, sleep and get back to work? That's literally just slavery, I'd rather fail the exam and leave the country if i was them.
The older generation, with cheap loans and uncontrolled growth of debt, provided themselves with a good life in the second half of the 20th century at the expense of those who will have to pay it all back in the first half of the 21st century. So that they could, at one time, buy their own home in 2-3 years without straining themselves by working 8 hours a day at a factory, we will now have to work ourselves to death on 12-hour shifts paying off their debts. Technically, instead of an inheritance, we received debt obligations. So this is not so much slavery as a debt hole of parents that we are forced to cover by giving up a normal life.
@Dandelion2-3Ironically having a collective culture with a focus on the benefits to society seemed to forget the most important ingredient that being having kids.

@@frankmurray-2004 I think you are correct however It seems to be more related to the psychological issues that we've had in the past century rather than the material conditions
The problem is multi faceted. There is no one key solution. 1. Having children is very expensive 2. Women want to work, and often are forced to work due to rising cost of living 3. Men and women are being taught to hate one another in countless media articles 4. Men are going their own way, while women are being told they need no man 5. People want to travel and have careers. Loads of hobbies and sports. Masses of entertainment. Children sap resources to do these. 6. Easy access to spicy videos and other content for men means they're slapping the sausage instead of finding a woman 7. Women have been told for decades to demand a top man. Top earning, top height, top looks. 8. For South Korea, China and Japan, long work hours means parents have no energy or time for children 9. And many more reasons.
Point 7 is super important, because there's been too many cases of men thinking they're in happy, loving, stable relationships, when in fact their spouse or partner is always looking to "upgrade". It's made the decision to have children an absolute nightmare for many young men who would like to be fathers, who would potentially be good fathers, and yet the idea that they can commit to their parenting role while their SO can't because they're always looking for something "better" is putting many of them completely off the idea. Add to that court systems which unfairly grant custody a good 90% of the time to the mom, and men are essentially reduced to the role of piggy-bank for women who can not only bag another man who is doing well financially, but she can bankroll part of her own lifestyle and the rearing of children off of child support. It's a complete narcissistic distortion that has ruined entire families for generations at this point, and while some may argue that the man/father might not have been living up to their end of the bargain, it's happened to enough good men who still do their best to be a positive influence on their young children's lives that there is no point to it anymore. You're essentially signing up for a one-night stand that turns into an 18 year commitment to pay half your wages to a woman who stabs you in the back and probably tries to turn your own kids against you.
Babies are only expensive if you're selfish as shit. Once you have a child, it is no longer about you. And someone having a child should be proud of such an honor to bring forth the new generation properly. In this age of self aggrandizement, I can see why having a baby wouldn't be an honor for most.

Everyone here is willingly blind to the fact that for all of human history, it's the poor that have had lots of children. Turns out that having kids is a useful strategy to escape poverty
The primary reason why people aren't having kids in industrialized nations is because most people are aware that their kids will have a lower standard of living than they did. Real wages have barely moved since the 80's, while cost of living is up several fold. And the trend is only getting worse. Looking to immigration for a solution is like treating a symptom without addressing its cause.
I don't think most people are even aware of their own elbow. They are all susceptible to the propaganda about population though and affected by an abundance of chemicals in our food and drink.

Truth: people are having the number of children they can afford....which is zero for many. I couldn't afford to date or get married....even though I had a job with good benefits.
my 2 cents, As long as people will have to work 8-10 hours to survive and barely making a living unless you are a doctor or an engineer you likely can't even afford children, and if you are an engineer or doctor you simply don't have time to raise a children. Good that you introduced the long forgotten rat studies. What you omitted though was that the reason these abundantly resourced rat societies fell apart was hypothesised to be that for both physiological and psycholigical reasons rats ( and by extension humans) can only tolerate a certain number and level of interactions over a given time period. Mega cities as they are currently constructed create such an overload, which results in a number of defined responses One of these is the creaion of tribalised districts, the other is total withdrawal from society and not going out, violence and rage - blind lashing out and pathological behavior is another, such as killing offspring. Another response is what is known as "bystander apathy", another well researched aberration of human behaviour typically found in large densely populated cities.
Interesting. I stopped watching the video before that part. I remember, scientists added one rat at a time, and they were peaceful, then at one point one was added and they all started fighting!

Humans aren't going anywhere, they'll be here for many more million years.
Who cares what the “universe” notices? I’m human, not the universe
The problem is multi faceted. There is no one key solution.
1. Having children is very expensive
2. Women want to work, and often are forced to work due to rising cost of living
3. Men and women are being taught to hate one another in countless media articles
4. Men are going their own way, while women are being told they need no man
5. People want to travel and have careers. Loads of hobbies and sports. Masses of entertainment. Children sap resources to do these.
6. Easy access to spicy videos and other content for men means they're slapping the sausage instead of finding a woman
7. Women have been told for decades to demand a top man. Top earning, top height, top looks.
8. For South Korea, China and Japan, long work hours means parents have no energy or time for children
9. And many more reasons.
80-20 rule has ruined dating. It's not a new phenomenon....
@@OrlanduHolySwordsman And thats exactly the problem, greed and selfishness.
Also sadly, this is most certainly also the natural after effect of conflict between the two genders. Ultimately not just people being priced out of it, but also resentment is a factor

my 2 cents, As long as people will have to work 8-10 hours to survive and barely making a living unless you are a doctor or an engineer you likely can't even afford children, and if you are an engineer or doctor you simply don't have time to raise a children. @@Ptaku93 I'm talking about political elite. Most of them would not enjoy improving future for kids. Corporate lobbyist also pressure them to discourage having kids as employees without them can spend more time on their jobs. That's the fundamental problem, if politicians would be too strict towards companies for their anti-kid antics, then those corporations would be at risk of changing their HQ to foreign rival countries, such as China even.
If poorer countries would no longer have to sell their stuff to richer countries, then they would use that stuff to make themselves rich for serious rivalty by enchancing their living standards. That's why richer countries make upper class of poorer countries ensure that status quo in there must remain the same at all cost. For example, USA has oil but they don't use it at all due to worse quality and sell it to other countries instead for some profit to partly cover purchasing better oil. Imagine USA having not to purchase oil just because they have their own but worse, citizens would feel it and that's something neither of the major political parties would enjoy, just like lobbyist trying their best to ensure that they won't rule twice in a row for serious changes, so they can counter each-other if possible. The backbone of stability is keeping most things the same.

Another response is what is known as "bystander apathy", another well researched aberration of human behaviour typically found in large densely populated cities.
good points all. We were not made to be crammed together

If this is such a crisis, then why don't people around the world just generally lower the prices of things? It's not practical to make everything increasingly expensive if they wish to rebuild populations

You are acting like a greedy capitalist you hate so much, so don't be surprised that the government acts accordingly.
Because when you get down to it, their profits today are still more important to them than whether there's anyone available for them to hire at starvation wages tomorrow.
Prices are a reflection of the supply and demand. You can't supply something for less than it costs. If you look into the costs though, you will find government all over it making everything more expensive. The government is a big giant leech sucking the life out of humanity. Look at your paycheck. A third to half of it is gone before you even see it. Remember to double social security and Medicare. Now remember that the company you work for is paying for all kinds of government nonsense. Some of it is taxes, some of it is fees, some of it is just stuff they have to do that they wouldn't have to do if the government wasn't making them do it. The hiring of unnecessary accountants, to comply with tax laws. You work for a meat processor, you have to build a special bathroom just for the meat inspector to go to the bathroom in. That goes into the price of meat.
maybe the problem isn't there was too many rats, but they were trapped, captive, held hostage in a dystopia, like has been done to us
the conditions the rats were in were utopian and that's the issue ,the rats did this to themselves because the rats who had the better genes controlled the females and the resources and the other male rats had nothing to work with , no fighting chance, so they are not going to suffer alone endlessly and meaninglessly eventually they will say fuck it and burn everything and everyone including themselves cause they have nothing to lose anyway, there has to be an element of anarchy and randomness within the system it cant all be perfectly organized otherwise you are guaranteed to end up with a monopoly that inslaves everyone, am a Muslim and this experiment reminds me of a verse, (Were it not for Allah’s repelling people, some by means of others, the earth would have gone to ruin. Well that certainly won’t be the case for Britain/Ireland, the US, Canada and Australia and NZ. And this is indisputably proven by virtue of mass-immigration intakes into all oof them over the past decade and, moreover, with all of this quintet intending to continue with these schedules.
The incredibly grave conundrum with this is, because almost all of these immigrants are the sourced from countries that have no inherent cultural, and WORST OF ALL, religious connections to the host societies. And whilst the economic rationalists - WEF, George Soros, major banks and, indeed, the extremely treacherous and traitorous politicians - construe it’s fantastic and, have multiple climaxes over the increasing revenues and taxes from increased consumption of goods and services the danger is that these immigrants will soon become the collective majorities.

I am saying ppl are intelligent and they are deciding not to have child now because the conditions are just not there. In the past, kids were and incredible ressource for a family even in time of war or famine. They could help with chores (anyway there was so much to be done to the environment still), the strongest survived and there wasn't so much law protecting them, meaning you could raise them to be your child. Today you have all kind of restrictions, including weddings that can scrap a familly in matters of minutes and on top of that you have a very dark futur ahead and you can't touch the environment anymore at a risk of breaking everything. Hell, I don't think it requires a lot of thinking to understand why more and more ppl don't want kids.

The war on fathers has really made a huge difference. The incentive is to turn fathers into nothing more child support payers & just a part time free babysitter (if you are lucky). So many, including me, don't even bother to try and start a family anymore. Why invest in something that can be taken away from you at anytime, for any reason, or no reason at all (no fault divorce).
Now your only input is to still pay up, or else, but you are disposable.
Message received: Don't even bother to try, fathers have no rights.
So few women are even worth the risk.
There is no war on fathers, dummy. Fathers did that on their own, that's what happens when a woman is left to do everything by herself while a man use the "bills" as an excuse to be incompetent. If you are gonna be dead weight then you get dropped

If an upper middle class lifestyle with 2 plus kids or a middle class lifestyle with 3 plus kids requires 60 plus stressful value added work hours per week at a corporation with a lifetime of home debt, auto debt, and maxed credit cards I’m all good. 0-1 kid it will be.

@@GKjones1991 totally agree. You have to be exceptional now to qualify for a job now that pays enough. There are simply not enough jobs that pay enough to afford modern prices.
You're too used to western lifestyle. People outside the west have kids while in poverty, but their whole family also lives together to support each other.
@@ZombieCSSTutorials agreed on that. Westerners especially Americans don’t live like that. Once kids are young adults parents want them out of the house so they can pursue their own consumption. As I’ve mentioned before young people aren’t having kids if they are in the middle to upper middle class because each kid will affect their lifestyle and consumption. For poor people it doesn’t matter because they don’t consume a lot anyways. For rich people they can afford it and most of them outsource all child rearing and domestic labor. It’s the middle to upper middle class that have the highest opportunity cost with having kids.
