I've seen fights break out over touching another mans car. If he's a car guy, you might as well pat his wife on the bottom. You're gonna get the same response.
But this has always been part of WAR IN THE WOODS!! plus its one tiny part of a very historic race that anyone with a small tyre, cage can enter...I agree that SAFTY should be better in the burnout box, but I GARRENTEE everyone is already looking forward to next year..hopefully Billy has his camaro finished and with the BBC & BLOWER!!!
Uncle Bob you are apart of the SRC channel a big part. You build the powerhouse Motors that go into the cars that they run. I know you’re modest but understand without you they don’t have the success they have. McVay is the ultimate machine shop
Don't forget also from what I've seen with the exception of Mike lough ( falcon engine builder) uncle bobs stuff is only ones that hold up his work Def speaks for itself
It was so awesome to hear Bob had a wonderful time at war in the woods. He couldn't have said it better. The community you and your sons have is fantastic.
I think Bob just described perfectly how everyone's first experience would be.. BOB'S MUCH HAPPIER NOW THAT SRC,OMG AND GEN2 ARE HIM MAIN JOB'S..JUST GLAD HE'S ENJOYING LIFE & GETTING TO TRAVEL TO 🙏🇺🇲🙏🇮🇪🙏🤝
Billy is so smooth, with transitions. You can't tell he run threw slick or trash. Jimmy Dale would have been proud of that wheelie. It set down so gentle, it didn't upset the rear a bit. Tommy's bird is ready to eat some Frankenstein. Keep em straight, thanks for the ride.

I thought it was awesome that Tony helped you out keeping people from getting in your way on the line , I to agree that no drinking in the staging area personally most of them people shouldn't be there anyway. I'm glad to see you had a great time Bill and it sounds like uncle Bob had a great time as well. I think the boys did great considering making rear suspension adjustments and not testing. I'm so proud of Allison from what I hear thats a big honor to be invited to road kill nights. God bless and as always be safe .

War in the woods was definitely an awesome experience and it was so cool meeting everyone and giving everyone their good luck bracelets! You guys are truly amazing people and I love what you all do!!
I really love the way Mr Bill does his videos, He tells the story so smooth and inviteing to his followers. It keeps me glued to my cell. All of the people in them are famous to me, Mr Bob, you are the man that makes power!!!
Jeff Thomas has done a great job improving war in the woods year after year. Great too see him as the owner of the track sky is the limit. The tin soldiers pod cast with Jeff talking about war in the woods and how him buying brown county drag way, happen is a great listen for a back story of everything.
War is an event ive not made it to yet. But i will be there one day. It was an awesome thing to watch live but nothing compares to being there in person. You guy's did well for making upgrades and no testing really. Just wait till me and Jimmy are at the same race and ive got my Guitar too. Will Bend Some Strangs😎🎸🤘 loved seeing the old owner of Prodigy. He seem to relive some memories there. Cool Stuff Old Man 😎
Man, i knew that mouthy female at Marks wouldn't last. i worked in the parts business for a few years when i was younger, and people dont want to deal with all that. Also i bet NBI could cut a new shock bracket and get it headed your way. There is no reason to rig anything on such a nice part.
Almostb12000 views in 1st hr. BILL to think you didn't think it would take. Sheese your doing big things for such lil time. It's all in your presentation and delivery. I found you a 79 black with red interior diecast that I'll bring you at Mags or 42. Can't wait to see that g body shuffle especially banging through the gears. Billy was right when he said you're gonna have your hands full with it. But, would you have it any other way. Didn't think so. Thanks Bill
That front thrust roller in the big block.....start getting in crazy HP you have to start runing high transmission line pressure...Thrn you start having thrust bearing issues...The roller thrust handles the tourque converter slammed into the block better....Rough n dirty, your transmission builder can explain it far better than me.....
The track needs to set some rules about fans crowding the burnout box. I used to film on the starting line at the sports nationals in Bowling Green Ky and a top fuel funny car launched the bottom end of the engine during a burn out. Hot aluminum engine parts went everywhere and oil on my legs. If I had gotten hit by a six inch block of hot aluminum It would have killed me. Those cars can do some damage to spectators being that close during the burn out.
I can’t believe someone hasn’t snapped an axle on a burnout & a tire & wheel take out a whole lane of people? Oh to be young & bulletproof…until your not!
It's tough being around drunk people, especially when you're not drunk. And something about alcohol, just makes people want to get right up on you. You just don't realize it when you're drunk that the sober person may not be feeling what you're feeling. I've not had any alcohol in 5 years. I don't mind being around people who are drinking but I don't enjoy being around a drunk. Shout out to Tony. 💪
Bill, my friend has a small block pulling truck that the guy who built it talks to Uncle Bob! I almost crapped my looms when Gilbert told me that! I told him YOU Are in good hands! Keep up the great work and best of luck this year!
track people need to get the people away from the burn out box and that area for safety drunk or not plain and simple i do a lot of tractor pulls and they will run people off the starting line and only let people of the tractor that is up to pull on the starting line
It's just plain dangerous. It's like people don't understand just how dangerous a car with wheel speed is during the burnout. In my opinion they leave the driver no room for error and that's something a driver shouldn't have to worry about right before a pass.
Yes we all know it's dangerous that's why they sign a waiver. Drivers love it and so do the fans. I can't imagine thinking I have the right to tell others what's best for them.
Thank You for the videos you and your family put out some bangers for sure ... Gotta love Miss Addie smile when she was tell you folks about winning that money Priceless ( need addie merch to help with her project ) Thanks again great Video
Cool video Bill ! That war in the woods is a great event. Yall was looking dam good out there I was pull for you guys the S10 is about to start hurting feelings again and Tommy was wheeling that falcon like crazy. 😎✌🏻
You got it as to the bottom line on racing. Better to go home in one piece than broken down. Thanks Bill for a solid foundation where your heart comes down to the boys racing. 👍
Love to see your boys being so competitive! I think they were a little conservative on the tune but hey great weekend of racing. All the cars came back together and everyone had a good time that’s what’s really important and to listen to JD singing just tops it off. You guy’s and The Cleetus Crew are the top car channels on the internet! Thank you so much from my Wife and I!
People need to realize when you guys are at the starting line or staging lanes you guys are working. They should have some respect and let you guys work. If they want to speak wait till you are at your pit or just walking around but not near the staging or burnout box. Glad you and your family had a good time and got back home safe.
Respect to my man that drove from Chattanooga Tn. To deliver the top for uncle bobs vette . I live in Cleveland Tn which is 20 minutes from Chattanooga. Way to go man. Great video Bill enjoyed the heck out of it.
Bob looks SOOOOO much less stressed just having to deal with Bill and the kids stuff 100% then he used to, witch is amazing considering how much crap they put in his lap lol 😆
Back in the sixties I was standing at the starting line at Edgewater and a dragster blower let go. The pulley was whizzing through the air and a drunk fella reached up to grab it and it shot back up and really mangled his hand. Never understood the tracks allowing people around the starting line. Thanks for the Great coverage of War in the Woods..
The reason for the torrington thrust bearing at the front side of the crankshaft is so you can raise the converter pressure without destroying the rear conventional thust. 125 psi torque converter pressure is on the high side for a conventional GM thrust bearing. You can do more with dumps valves with more converter pressure. For example, make a 2 speed powerglide act like a three speed. You're not gonna see much stall change with a 125 psi high side, 30 psi low side converter pressure, conventional thrust bearing setup, using dump valves. 250 psi plus converter pressure, you can effect stall changes down track, using dump valves.
I watched billy and tommys video and I KNEW as soon as that touched the falcon, you was about 2 sec away from "he gonna learn today"! Your ALOT like my father was and the people that got my dad into drag racing! Im proud of ya old man! I couldnt handle all the people and the drunks. I love drag racing but i just couldnt doit!
Bill, thank you for sharing these videos. The way you tell the story line, I feel like I know your family and friends personally. Good luck this weekend at Magnolia.
Man Bill every time you show that Monte it kills me I didn’t keep mine. It was my first car in pretty good shape. It was the blue 79. I put headers on that little 267 or whatever it was that came in it along with those thrush turbo mufflers. If I remember right they were fairly new. It actually sounded pretty good at 6,000 or valve float, whatever came first lol. I blew it up and junked it dammit! The body was perfectly straight, it was only faded. I was 17, what did I know except I was really upset about it but I made up for it by getting an 80 TA. Blew that 301 up in a week and put a Jasper 350 sbc in it. Blew that up in a year and bought a 78 TA. That one I built nice, it was my baby for 3 or 4 years till I totaled it. Now that was super upsetting, it still kills me today.
GUYS ! ! ! ! ! take those alumininmmuuummmm rods and throw them damn things as far as you can towards the nearest river, and put some REAL rods in that thang ...they are a "Built In" Engine blowin' up project......OnWard........
Cantu could hook his truck on a dirt road.. It's sorted beyond sorted. No surprise he got down that horrible left lane as good as he did. As always, great vid, Bill.
It’s good to hear my home town in your video. I’m from Chattanooga TN. Home of some of the Dirt Late Model drivers in the country. Love the content hope to meet y’all at an event near my home town. Brandon from TN.
Heck yeah that’s awesome to see uncle bob being able to go to some of the races with you all now and that was awesome of Tony to help keep some of the people back so you could help with Tommy and Billy awesome to see you all having fun and get time at the races I need to go watch you all at war in the woods one of these days
OMG, you always do a great job on your videos👌 Your narrating is top notch! You have a great voice for narrating videos. I like your pics and videos clips to end your video after talking with Mrs Vicki "aka squirrel" That was a great shot of your 2 associates in the back seat sleeping in your new tow rig, they are a couple of hams! Keep up the great work and content! 🔦🏁💰🤑🇺🇸
Hey Bill! Well I have had my fix for the day! Fantastic video! Such refreshing content. Always love to see Miss Vicky in the mix. Just a great group of people. As always stay safe and good luck this weekend. 😀😀❤️
Bill, Steve Morris' latest video (with some Swinton and Nolan from Isky Cams input video), on his latest up deals w/ the 55 valve spring issues concerning constant rpms faced on a drag and drive. You guys need to watch his video. Then just look at varying RPM through a gear change or just any way to get the rpms to vary a little and not hold a constant rpm for extended periods of time. It affects all valve springs they have found using the Swinton. Each combo has a specific unhappy spot. Just watching the video is eye opening. My buddy w/ his C econo dragster racing comp Elim. Faces it too sometimes just staging the car it will break a spring. So, it does not need to be a long time, just a certain rpm that the springs go into that certain shimmy shake frequency of bounce. Others that have the same exact SMX combo (same engine, valves, springs, valvetrain and heads, etc do not have the issue (his was 2,500 Rpm for extended 2 hr period before a spring broke on his recent drag and drive), are using a gear vendor overdrive, so they are outside that unhappy range of rpm's are not breaking springs. Others that do not are. Just same issue Billy faced on the 55, and Nolan gave him video proof of the known issue. Good stuff to see and knowledge to have.
That 440 is gonna be an absolute monster in the Monte 💪 Also some advice on Billy's header flange, smack the warped area of the flanges with a ball peen hammer, or a large rounded punch/brass drift, while it is bolted up tight. This will shock and reduce the spring like tention of the steel so that it is less prone of returning to a warped state. I would hit them on both the outer surface and along the top edge.
Love how you keep all your content original and so well organized y'all keep up the good work I love your carb tuning videos I have 2 dominators on a bds stage three blower got them dial in pretty close
You guys are truly blessed. Great community and friends. What`s up with that fuel pump at Uncle Bob`s? He needs a hand crank pump for that drum at least, not that slow hand siphon pump. I`ve already seen the Gen2Garage video, Congratulations again Allison, Tommy and Jeffafa. I hope they drop that engine in the Duster, most of the work is done on it. Nice numbers on the 440 Bill, hehe, should jump with twin turbskis. I also saw Jimmy Dale whomp, whomp, whomp Tony. Sorry Tony. Jimmy`s a character, lol. Stay safe all, God Bless.
Up on that starting line if random people were touching my car, man I would be pissed off. Crazy how un-self aware people are
You are absolutely correct I'm like Bill on that deal don't touch my boy's car's or me
Always ask. General. Respect of take a. Well U know.
I've seen fights break out over touching another mans car. If he's a car guy, you might as well pat his wife on the bottom. You're gonna get the same response.
Mutual man to man respect has been lost. It's very sad, I'd be pissed myself.

Bob is such a great guy! You guys are blessed to have him!
He REALLY seems to be more at ease nowadays
Gotta love uncle bob! His humbleness is unmatched he’s so knowledgeable but acts just like a normal guy!
I'm with uncle Bob all the people at the starting line are in the shrapnel zone and are at a huge risk.
You see the guy blow his intake and scoop off his car. Didn't phase the drunks a bit.
They're all nuts..
Never have agreed with that, can’t imagine why track owners or race promoters let that happen.
@@donhorner6019because they can. Stand where you want and let them stand where they want.
@donavinadair9415 when somebody does the track will be sued and shut down. How stupid are you
Billy, Tommy, and Bill bravo for keeping the SRC, and old man's garage at the front
From a native Texan Jimmy Dale is true country great job guys
Billy is so smooth, with transitions. You can't tell he run threw slick or trash. Jimmy Dale would have been proud of that wheelie. It set down so gentle, it didn't upset the rear a bit.
Tommy's bird is ready to eat some Frankenstein.
Keep em straight, thanks for the ride.
You guys should do something nice for Mark. Everyone pitch in and get him and his wife a spa weekend.😂😂😂😂

Mr. Bill, you need to carry a "Cattle Stick" to keep the freaky people at bay.
The track needs to set some rules about fans crowding the burnout box.
I used to film on the starting line at the sports nationals in Bowling Green Ky and a top fuel funny car launched the bottom end of the engine during a burn out.

Our camping experience was amazing at Bill M. And the Local diner I think it was called Brownies was spot on!!!
The front thrust is put in to save the back thrust. Without it, high boost applications will wear out the stock thrust and push the crank forward.
Cool to here Larry Morgan in the mix!! Class Act!

That is some crank. What crank is that in there? Very sweet!
Best 3 channels on the tube! Keep it coming guys!
It’s cool how this family of YT channels has made celebrities out of people at a auto parts store , paint & body shop and a engine builder!
What a freaking TH-cam channel you guys are! Keep up with the videos as they are what keeps us going! Thank you for everything yall do

Great to see the 55 coming along nice. Can't wait to see it done.
Bob is so nice. I can't believe something bad hasn't happened on those starting lines. I can't believe people touch people's cars like that.
GUYS ! ! ! ! ! take those alumininmmuuummmm rods and throw them damn things as far as you can towards the nearest river, and put some REAL rods in that thang ...they are a "Built In" Engine blowin' up project......OnWard........
I loved that I could help them out. It was really cool seeing myself in the video lol
Its amazing the crowd that showed up, especially since in the midwest this is the height of sprint car and late model racing season
Heck yeah that’s awesome to see uncle bob being able to go to some of the races with you all now and that was awesome of Tony to help keep some of the people back so you could help with Tommy and Billy awesome to see you all having fun and get time at the races I need to go watch you all at war in the woods one of these days

I like your pics and videos clips to end your video after talking with Mrs Vicki "aka squirrel"
That was a great shot of your 2 associates in the back seat sleeping in your new tow rig, they are a couple of hams!
Keep up the great work and content!

Spintron.
Tony’s a solid dude. A genuine good guy.
Love how you keep all your content original and so well organized y'all keep up the good work I love your carb tuning videos I have 2 dominators on a bds stage three blower got them dial in pretty close
Love the videos! And look forward to meeting you at PRI event. I meet Tommy & Allison last year.
This fam brings me joy ❤.
MY FAVORITE GARAGE CHANNEL!
