Bill you and I are close to the same age. I graduated in 1988. Just a couple years before you but I relate to you and things you do. I’m so sorry that you have gone through this tough year. I’m crying right now as I’m trying to make this comment. I lost my brother in 2018 at 52 years old. He was born in November of 65 and I was born in November of 70. He was was five years older than me and I have had a hard time getting through it. I’m so sorry for your loss. I love your channel and it’s so easy for me to relate to you because I bracket raced in the 90’s and I watch you give it over to your kids. Keep moving forward brother and remember God loves you!

Only gonna get warmer so might as well get a headstart on it. Weeded Moms Flower Beds and trimmed back some low hanging limbs on the apple trees so we can mow under them. Condolences to the entire family. That was a great episode with an upbeat positive ending. Don’t ignore those unsealed threads in the valve train on that big block. I’ve made that mistake before. It was costly. The negative pressure that intake tract under when that engine is decelerating with the throttle closed will do things we can not imagine.

From my experience dealing with big rig diesels. Just bypassing the pass side turbo wouldn't clear the smoke. As the exhaust will have oil all in it. And cause it to smoke something awful for a good bit to burn it out.

Every combo is different and some take tiny swings, and parts thrown at it, some take major swings to find improvements. All you can do with an engine and a dyno, is find repetitive plusses and minuses, and Bob does it correctly, uses the same carb to get a beeline, and then go up and down attempting to find the right induction improves as do you. You found 2 that work, the smaller one and the Dominator both make power. Then we all know Jimmy is going to pour the giggle gas to it and stress every bit of Bob's inner work and parts, and waaaaka, waaaaaka that heartbeater to death increasing the explosions in each and every cylinder breath he can. Good job you 2!

I have had alot of problems with Fel-pro gaskets, mine is a sbc 200cc port dart heads and matching dart intake. it will suck the gaskets in to the ports, oil and a major vacuum leak. I switched to the fel-pro gaskets with the STEEL reinforced inside in the gaskets type. that has fixed the problem...... To me,, it seems that what ever is in the fuel now daze dissolves the gaskets.....

Those spacers definitely work, I have found on multiple engines that it cleans up a lot of soft spots on the power curve. I’ve never seen big hp increases, but drivability increases noticeably.

I have had alot of problems with Fel-pro gaskets, mine is a sbc 200cc port dart heads and matching dart intake.
it will suck the gaskets in to the ports, oil and a major vacuum leak.
I switched to the fel-pro gaskets with the STEEL reinforced inside in the gaskets type.
that has fixed the problem......
To me,, it seems that what ever is in the fuel now daze dissolves the gaskets.....
My deepest condolences to you and family, especially your dad. No one should have to live

When you speak about Cabs you speak with authority and many many people listen to you. I have heard other racers you have helped say that because of OLD MANS Garage they had made it further down the track or they learned something they had never known. Those spacers definitely work, I have found on multiple engines that it cleans up a lot of soft spots on the power curve. I’ve never seen big hp increases, but drivability increases noticeably.
