Good on you Bill! That is so cool of you to help that family out! You are awesome, Man! That Marauder is such a beautiful ride! Holy Crap! I love it! I can't wait to see the transformation! Let's GOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Bill your video quality is amazing. I know the amount of time you spend clipping and editing has got to be off the charts. Thanks you so very much for all your efforts entertaining us ole car nuts!!! It’s all about the people!!!
In 1964 I was 17, my step Dad and Mom bought a brand new Mercury 'Breezeway' Montclair. When he retired June 1965 the Merc was the car all 6 of us in our family (Mom, Dad and we 4 kids - I at 17, my brother 16, sister at 15 and little sis at 10) squeezed in with their 16 foot RV trailer in tow departed Dover, Delaware and headed cross country to Portland, Ore. All I remember about the trip was my parents switching drivers when they got tired. 5 days and nights driving almost straight thru we arrived in Portland. They kept the Merc until 1966 then traded it in on a '66 Pontiac Catalina.
Bill this is great. I've followed this car for a while and absolutely love it. When I was 18yo I had a 64' Parklane Red with black convertible top. Fully loaded.with ostrich leather bucket seats and console. 390 4bbl automatic transmission I should've had my a$$ kicked for selling it. My all time favorite car. Anyway I'm ecstatic to see how this comes out. I'm 69yo and live my mechanic side of life through your channel. Thanks for what you do.
Love the shots of the Mercury cruising the small town. The string lights on the utility poles really popped off on that red paint. Great eye Bill, and awesome video. Thanks
Oh man! Jack kills me every time u have him on, and if u get him and jimmy dale together omg it's like father n son happy hour! Yall r great ppl, u do so much for your community and your followers. Keep it up guys!
Bill you and Jack was right when you said 20-25 years ago your Malibu’s engine would never of been possible. In the late 90’s early 2000’s if you had a street car that made 1hp per cubic inch and run 11-12’s you had a hell of a hot rod.
Bill when you was sittin in Tojo you looked like you wanted to projectile vomit 😂 Little Wyatt is gettin so big Man. Glad youre enjoying being a Grandfather. Its a feeling and Love one can't explain. Its a stronger Love than the Love we have for our children. I hope everyone gets to experience that in their lives. Billy,Tommy and Cj did well over the weekend 😎🏁🤘🇺🇲
when you get that engine up to Bob's, be SURE to pull the water pump off it and check the internal passage WALLS....they are very thin, and if they're eaten up with electrolysis, they will puke anti-freeze right into the crankcase....not good.........have fun.......OnWard........
Bueatiful 64 maurader ! More reasons i care about this family and your channel bill. The love you have for the folks in the car community is second to none. Thanks for all you do friend. You are appreciated.
Y’all are awesome. The way you keep helping people out, describes the character your whole family has. Good people like y’all are few and far between these days. My god continue to bless your whole family.
Bill what a great video. You have some really great connections and are able to help a real genuine family with their car. Thank you for being so kind to them and also thank you for sharing your experience with us. You have been blessed with the best family and friends that you could ever ask for. Thanks again for the experience you shared with us
It makes me sad when your videos end, I so look forward to them. You guys are such good people that it makes me happy to see you do anything with the cars you have. Thank you so much.
I’d give my pinky toe and everything I own for a 69 Boss429 Mustang. Dream car of mine for over 30 yrs , but I’d be happy with that Merc Too ! Badass car !
Well, I didn’t win the carb from you so I called atm and ordered one. Should have it in 3 weeks! Can’t wait to see what this 427 does with the tko behind it! As always, great video man!
What a beautiful 1963 Chevy with the 409 that was Mecum had one go across the auction block last week. It was a '63 Biscayne 4-speed with a 348 with duo quads and that car only went for 22k. What a serious buy that was. Car was beautiful white with the white steelies with dog dish. Hubcaps beautiful car
Jack wasn't expecting the Malibu to be so street friendly...boooy was he fooled. When the old man sets his mind to it he build one HELL OF A STREET CAR. The carburetor winner is from my way.. AWESOME
Hey Bill! Have commented in awhile. But nothing has changed your channel continues to stand out as the best. Love that you are helping those folks out with there engine problems. Beautiful Mercury. When you the motor all done it will run as good as it looks. Great job. As always stay safe😃😃❤️
The car makers in the sixties made some beautiful cars. As a lifelong ford guy and even though i have owned six mustangs and a 68 Mercury Cougar XR7, I prefer the Fairlanes, torinos and even owned a 66 Mercury Cyclone GT that had a lot of styling cues from the marauder. Stunning example of big ford with big block ford power. Some of Jon Kasse heads really bring that stroked 460 to life.
I've met your family a few times at Edgewater and the track up by y'all place and it never seems to amaze me what y'all do for people that either can afford or physically cant do the things they want to do Keep up what ya doing because no matter how bad a day I'm having yours, SRC and Gen 2 always puts a smile on my face I know you hear this all the time but thank you
That 32 roadster at 5:08 is done a little unusual but dang im really digging that ride. At 55 ive always been a musclecar guy but also into traditional rods too. Thankfully i had a lot of exposure to a bunch of traditional hot rod stuff like riding in a rumble seat in a 29 roadster, watching a friends dad build that same roadster then later a 37 Ford 2dr sedan from raw materials to start all the way to finished car. This guy Ray was an old time rodder from Detorit. He had pics all the way from early 50s showing that same 29 roadster in primer with a blown 283 running high 10s at Detroit dragway around 1963. We used to go to alot of rod runs and such back when i was younger, so yeah i was heavy into rods too. Also have a big interest in classic 50s customs too. Not many people are big on that scene anymore but always had a soft spot for kustoms with a K. Musclecars are still my main thing however.
What you do for hot rodding and the classic car scene is awesome!! Love watching your videos and always looking forward to the next episode. Patiently waiting for more on the Mercury.
I'm sure Tanner would pull that dash being he was asked to do so but Uncle bucko is the perfect person for that job. I've seen poker runs with boats but never heard of it with cars and it looks and sounds like a lot of fun. That 64 merc sure is one sharp looking car I'm looking forward to seeing what you and uncle Bob can do with the cam and carb swap on the 502. Once again Bill another awesome video you never fail on the entertainment. God bless and as always be safe.
Great video! God Bless America and hard working people like Bill & Vicki🖤 What a fantastic narration voice Bill has!! And there is my baby girl at the end of the video!!!! Too cool! Shout and and love to the entire Hoskinson clan!
I wholeheartedly enjoy your editing style. Many a time, I have had extreme anxiety from life's malarkey. As I just did. Watching your videos takes it away. And, for that, I am appreciative. You and your family are amazing. Quintessential American family. J swap Jason.
Im from Portsmouth, England so was cool to hear about its American counterpart :) our Portsmouth is famous for being the home of the Royal Navy, and having Admiral Nelsons flagship the HMS Victory from 1765!
I can’t wait till that BBF gets tuned and dyno’d! I never miss an episode of any of your family’s videos, but I’m a ford guy. I’m building a similar engine for my Fairlane. Would love to see what HP that thing makes!
I had a 86 SS but the 78 is the first and one to have. My stepmother purchased a new Black 78. Only problem she traded a mint high option 72 Ford Torino sport in on it🙄 wasn't that crazu back in 78 but today looking back 🤢 hey people wanted a new car in 70s and they weren't 100k most were affordable you know that. We never thought of being a millionaire. In 81 my father built a new house on a golf course . land and house turn key 125k people thought he was nuts. Can't buy a double wide with land for 125k today.
Mr bill i swear thats prolly the coolest thing you could have ever done for that guy.. i love my bbf's itll be cool to see the gains with the hydraulic roller over that old flat tappet
I use to have a 700r4 in my 87 S10. Even with the 2.8l v6 it wanted to pull the front wheels off the ground athe the stop lights. Put a 283ci in it later on & the 283 got better gas mileage than the 2.8l v6 😮
Hey Bill. Mike here, Aka "Doc Holliday" pace car mustang Mike. I watch all your videos on my Home TV. But can't comment from my TV. I really do very much appreciate all your educational videos. I've learned so much about tuning my carburetor from your channel and so much more. I recently lost my dad. It's been so difficult, and I find comfort in watching your videos somehow. Keep up doing the fantastic content. I very much enjoy all your families content. Jen says hello. And when will Miss Vicki start her TH-cam channel? Respectfully. M&J Chaney.
Awesome fun video Bill and hilarious seeing Jack drive your Malibu. That Mercury is a cream puff. I’m not a Ford guy either but I’d sure putt that car.
Uncle Bob's initial look was like, "wtf are you doing to me now"😂
😂 bobs like ur helping me do it and ur bringing me a fan to blow on me while we build it 😅
You’re bring me a FOAD motah?
@@jeremyedwards7357🥴
I thought exact same thing Lol you think they'd get Bob an AC for the dyno room
When Jack said”it knocked a lung loose. I’m old”… I was dying 🤣😂🤣
Same. Funny guy
That Mercury is really cool, I am glad you were able to help them out!
That Mercury is stunning!! Absolutely gorgeous car!! You don't see many in that condition!
Bob certainly has his plate full lately!!
😍😍
This whole video was great but that 64 Mercury Marauder is gorgeous! Beautiful shade of red!
Good on you Bill!

Three twos with jack is a pretty hand.
That's what I was thinking!
I’d be pretty confident with that hand.
when you get that engine up to Bob's, be SURE to pull the water pump off it and check the internal passage WALLS....they are very thin, and if they're eaten up with electrolysis, they will puke anti-freeze right into the crankcase....not good.........have fun.......OnWard........
Man! I thought a new video was never going to come! I been chomping at the bit for a new one! Thank you Brother Bill! I'm good for a few days!
These videos are so relaxing to watch. Thank you for all the time you put in for us to get a little escape and live a little in your life

And somehow, one of Bills 30 minute videos only lasts 10 to 12 minutes! They are always over much too quick unfortunately!!
I’d give my pinky toe and everything I own for a 69 Boss429 Mustang. Dream car of mine for over 30 yrs , but I’d be happy with that Merc Too ! Badass car !
👍🏼
Friggin Love This Channel and Family.

Ed's Garage 99 needs some serious ATM carburetor help!!!
we used to do poker runs on our harleys and other bikes....annual event from pub to pub... then a big party afterwards..... good times...
What a beautiful 1963 Chevy with the 409 that was Mecum had one go across the auction block last week. It was a '63 Biscayne 4-speed with a 348 with duo quads and that car only went for 22k. Jack was killing it. “I spent every paycheck at Jegs to run 13’s.” He’s not wrong, I too back in the day.
I'm old enough to remember 13's was a big street car number.
It really looks like you guys had a great time!!!
True to your word Bill, you not only did a give away you were a solid dude to tune it etc.Billys mustang giveaway was such a good deal for the soul.
Billy has a beautiful young family, thanks to you ms.viki
Jack and Bill, the dynamic duo of poker runs. A most excellent team.
Jack wasn't expecting the Malibu to be so street friendly...boooy was he fooled. When the old man sets his mind to it he build one HELL OF A STREET CAR. The carburetor winner is from my way.. AWESOME
Being a ford guy like I am that marauder is amazing! Wish it still had a fe in it but the 460 is good too!
Hey Bill! Have commented in awhile. But nothing has changed your channel continues to stand out as the best. Love that you are helping those folks out with there engine problems. Beautiful Mercury. When you the motor all done it will run as good as it looks. Great job. As always stay safe😃😃❤️

Definitely going to be awesome build 💙💙💙💙🇺🇸
The lifter noise could possibly be "rhoads" lifters. They sound just like solid lifters.
That mercury is f’n clean😮💨👌🏼 really cool for you guys to help them get it running right🤜🏼🤛🏼
Man i cant belive how nice that Ford is and how little it needed to be a reliable BEAST...time to get it right
Love your drone shots! Especially the one on the bridge going out between the beams!
