How much did I spend one month in Italy - Digital Nomad Travel Budget

  • In October 2021, we had the opportunity to spend a month in Italy working remotely. We spent most of our time in a small town called Badolato in Calabria. But we also visited Pompeii, San Gimignano and Siena in Tuscany and Umbria.
    One question we get asked a lot is how much money we actually spend on our travels and how much things cost. So I decided to record our travel expenses on this trip, because maybe this information will be helpful for anyone who wants to become a digital nomad or work remotely.
    In this video, I only share my own opinion and paid for everything myself.

    Please keep providing a summary of your costs and break down of other locations like Brazil! It's so helpful to see where you went and what is costs! Looking forward to your future videos!

    Very helpful. We are planning on doing a lot of "nomadic" traveling in a few years from now and your videos really help us to plan.

      Enjoy the planning! For me, that‘s one of the best phases - I always love it when I have an upcoming trip to be excited about. :)

      Awesome! How did you like Milano? I was once, but only for a few days on a tradeshow, so I got to see nothing.

    Hello from New Zealand. My wife and I are looking to see how we can spend 6 months in Europe, and work. I can work anywhere with my job. A major downfall of wanting to do this from New Zealand is the terrible exchange rate iwth Euro and the cost of flights to get there. We really enjoyed this video and the one you did on house siting with pets. Fantastic content, thanks so much

      I already did a video about what I packed on one of our last trips within Brazil and I will try to convince my husband. ;-)

    So you say october/november is off season? My Friends and I are traveling to Spain/Italy no those months coming from Costa Rica/Panamá.

    • @MaggiFuchs
      @MaggiFuchs  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, at least in the area where we were it was definitely off-season. Depending on where you go in Italy, that may not be the case, eg in big cities like Rome.
