For real, the best filmed, narrated, and explained maintenance video on spark plugs to date. It insultingly nuts how many mechanics have *no understanding* of torque values and how disastrous over or under tightening can be on a vehicle. Well done. Supremely helpful video.
Do i have to have a torque wrench to tighten? I recall tightening basically enough to be tight, but obviously not over tightening....Im not familiar with the term you used when tightening? Help?!
Are you sure you twist the oil fill cap to the left because I twisted mine to the right with a huge pair of knipex pliers to get it off. It was really hard to do out it did come off but now when I twist it to the left to put it back on it won't go back on.

Thank you. I just learned, today, how to change the spark plugs and ignition coils. Something that really needs to be done.
I love TH-cam University !
What size is the bolt for the Ignition coils?
Im confused on what size extension I need! The socket is 5/8 what size for the extension?
Thank you so much..I can do that myself now thanks to you.

Is this the same blueprint when changing them on a 2011 Equinox with the V6?

Is it possible for the plug to be stripped ? & what shpuld I do then
+Saïd If the plug is stripped, we would recommend replacing the part completely.

Leftie loosie righty tighty.
Rotate clockwise to tighten. Counterclockwise to do the opposite
Did you let the engine cool off? You won't be able to twist it left with a hot engine.
I have a equinox 2009, and I don’t know how tight to screw it in . One keeps coming out
This is going to save me $100 from the shop wanting to do it.
Will it harm my car if I forgot to disconnect the cords that plug in the back while changing them?
Thank you sir, 😊
Very helpful video. Thanks.
