Here’s my own theory on Hatake‘s failed mission. Hatake’s failed mission was the one that started the 3rd Ninja War. The way I have this going is that his squad was deployed as a counter force against an Iwa/Kiri attack on Uzushirogakure (which we know was still around in Kushina’s lifetime). He failed due to not knowing the other nation (Kiri/Iwa) was also attacking thus being underprepared. This would also explain why Nagato claimed Konoha started the war. Konoha would’ve started it in response to the attack, and utter annihilation of their closest ally. The White Fang didn’t fail a mission. He failed THE mission.

Hanzo probably found a way to use the poison in a similar way to mustard gas. this is actually in keeping with the whole WW1 comparison as the first shinobi war would serve as an impetus for the smaller villages to find some way to mass kill their much more numerous enemies or at least make the losses so great that they would avoid them. it always seemed odd to me that out of a whole platoon only the 3 sannin survived especially when you consider that they had literally the best posible , and only at the time, medical-nin with them. it also plays into the whole fighting strong opponents as if they were already singled out as among the best konoha had, it would provide the motivation to single them out for one-one or one-three fights as all others were immediately disposable and useless in his quest for greater strength.
Well, Sakumo abandoned a mission to save his friends, who later ostracized him leading to his suicide. It wasn't a mission TO save them, it was something akin to intel gathering, iirc. And Sasori was a child when his parents were killed. He wouldn't leave the Sand until after he had become Sasori of the Red Sand, a title he gained in the Third war.

Great video! Didn't Uzushio fall during the 2nd war tho? Most of the fandom believes it happened somewhere near the end. Kiri, Kumo and other villages could've made a move against Uzushio while Konoha was distracted by the other nations. This would make sense when we consider how overpowered Konoha already was, their alliance with Uzushio made them even more threatening and Kiri notably didn't take part in the 2nd war so they were at full military strength.

My theory: The Sannin were there on each front for a reason. Tsunade was to counter Granny Chiyo. Orochimaru was ostensibly leading the fight against the stone. And Jiraiya was on the rain raising the Ame Orphans and watching for any sneaky backdoor shenanigans. The fact that each was either a personal mission or vendetta wrapped in official orders is what ties it all together, allowing each to develop as a person while bolatering the new titles bestowed by Hanzo
Question! when in the timeline did Jiraiya meet Nagato, Konan, and Yahiko? the wiki seems to think that the Akatsuki didn't even exist until the out break of the third Shinobi world war. Further more I seem to personally remember Jiraiya meeting the three orphans just after Hanzo gave Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru their title the Sannin, which very much happened during the second Shinobi world war.

If tsunade had 100 healings why couldn’t she save Dan? Can’t she heal other people too? Or did she not have it then? You would think so seeing as how hashirama knew that sakuras hundred healings fighting style was scarier than tsunades. Implying that he had seen it before he died. Which would be well before this war
I haven't seen the diamond shaped mark on her forehead in flashbacks so I believe she was yet to develop the Jutsu. Her grandmother Mito uzumaki (Hashirama's wife) had the same mark so she was possibly the first one to use that jutsu and if that is the case then Tsunade might have learnt from her too

Here's the thing.....there was no guarantee that Jiraya had sage mode yet. Much like Naruto there is a chance they first taught him how to summon him before he eventually went back to learn sage mode later....so, might not have sage mode yet. And even if he did he would need enough chakra to summon ma and pa to even be able to go into sage mode.

Bro. No direspect or anything, but the way you say the name of the place where the toads live in Naruto, makes me shiver with discomfort. It's Mount Miyoboku. Phonetically: Me (as in "Me, Myself and I") Yo (as in "Yo, what's up, man?") Boku (as in Boku no Hero) Me-Yo-Boku. Mount Miyoboku. Other than that, love the vids, keep them coming. 💪
Ayeee! Now I always look forward to your videos. Love your videos, man!
It was always my understanding that the leaf was the most powerful and the cloud and Stone were sort of tied for 2nd and then the mist and sand were the weakest and poorest.
Just something to add to your assumptions. I think the uzumaki village was destroyed during this war. Most likely by the Mist village. My reason for assuming this is because of the seals used by the clan I feel like they were the ones that specialized in creating unique weapons likely trying to base something off the treasure tools of the six paths of sage. Even though it's just the filler the anime weapon that Tobirama used was basically a lightning lightsaber possibly a gift from the uzumaki. The reason why I say I had to have happened during this war was because we saw the iteration of the seven swordsmen of the mist during the third great Shinobi war when they fought against might dai. Also we never saw the first or second mizukage with any of the great seven blades. Most likely they were trophies taken from the uzumaki clan. Also kushina had to have been sent by her clan during this time in order for her to grow up in the leaf village. Honestly it's a bit of headcanon but it makes a lot of sense.
yes the anime saying during Jiraiya's/Nagato's back story that it was the third war was a mistake. it was the suppose to be the second when that three great shinobi got their name and a while later, in the third, the fourth hokage got his fame. based on the age and everything, the 3rd war was probably really long because stuff like Kushina getting kidnapped were the events leading up to the third war and by the end the fourth hokage was famous/feared in all nations. this would also mean Kakashi's father would have died during the second, as he was famous alongside and out shined the sanin for a while until his dishonor and suicide. all the Sakumo stuff could have happened in the second and Kakashi getting his fame was in the third. Sakumo could have died during the early third war. the orphans trained under Juriya during the second war but later on, by the third, became famous with the Akkatsuki and Yahiko died during the third. it would take a while for them to create the Akatsuki after parting with Jiraiya. cutting through the grass is faster but if you want to throw them off you go the long way or both. Don is SHizune's uncle. Chio is less famous for her personal power, yes one women/10 puppets destroying a fort that likely had some ninja is nuts but she could also teach both puppet crafting and medical skill, particularly poisons. she wasn't on Sasori's level with either. Chio not only knew how to cure Hanzo's salamander's poison but fought it so much she knew how long it takes to make more poison. yes going around the rain eventually to avoid Hanzo or, again, pincer attacks as an option so the rain isn't exactly safe, just maybe a less frequent path.

A new video from you! Love to see it.
I would be so down to watch the show pre Naruto. Like imagine if they make an anime separately based on the three previous ninja war.
I always assumed the trio where known as legendes way before the second war. But here this it makes 100% more sense.
Heck yeah. Great content man!
Thanks you dude keep killing it
I thought it was Sakumo saved his friends over the mission, not that he failed anyone.
Another absolute banger, im not surpised, im just thankful
Love the videos and was really wondering could you make a "you know nothing" video for Asuma please.
Always look forward to your videos dropping. Thanks for the great content.
Her grandmother Mito uzumaki (Hashirama's wife) had the same mark so she was possibly the first one to use that jutsu and if that is the case then Tsunade might have learnt from her too
Another real solid video dude. Love the content and keep up the great work.
Love the amazing content Nick! 🤘🏾🔥It's Street! Proud member of the WEEB ALLIANCE! Your explanations are outstanding 👌🏾. However, PLEASE FIX MINATOS KUNIA KNIFE BEHIND YOU!!🤣🤣🤣ITS ALWAYS CROOKED TO THE RIGHT A LITTLE 😂😂😂

You should cover the 4th one! For anyone who may have slept through a important episode or something and maybe they missed something
Did you mean to say 'squirmishes'? I listened to it a couple times and I swear that's what I hear instead of 'skirmishes'.
Love the channel and your enthusiasm going over lore :)
Just got home from work and rolled up. Perfect timing😎😎😎😎💯
the only ad I've never skipped
5:44 "squirmishes" lol
Tsunade's brother was probably killed by Stone ninja as well. Because Stone has the explosion corps and he was blowed up spectacularly
Another fantastic video!!
Also, juuuust curious...is there a reason you pronounce names and terms like Suigetsu or Edo Tensei as though they were Chinese, not Japanese? It's come up a ton in your videos and I'm just wondering if you speak Mandarin then 😅
you be having my Naruto Lore on point bro i be ready to debate with any & everybody lol
Bro. No direspect or anything, but the way you say the name of the place where the toads live in Naruto, makes me shiver with discomfort. It's Mount Miyoboku. Phonetically:
Me (as in "Me, Myself and I")
Yo (as in "Yo, what's up, man?")
Boku (as in Boku no Hero)
Me-Yo-Boku.
Mount Miyoboku.
Other than that, love the vids, keep them coming. 💪
Have been binging this channel
Another lovely vid keep it up 🤙
Can't wait for the next shinobi war video
This was another great video I can't wait for the 3 Geeat ninja war
Ayeee! Now I always look forward to your videos. I haven’t really watched Naruto shipuden or Boruto but my gf and brother love the whole Naruto Anime so they were always telling me everything so I guess I got so invested I’d watch videos about the lore but not enough to actually watch the anime(?) lol
Anyway. Love your videos, man!
It was always my understanding that the leaf was the most powerful and the cloud and Stone were sort of tied for 2nd and then the mist and sand were the weakest and poorest.
I love youre videos theyre very informal and thats what i love
Welcome back my scholarly friend
Ayoo buddy you forgot to add the side video notification thingy on top at 8:51
Got my coffee, and a nchammer video. Nobody bother me
1 min gang I fox wit cho videos. But I jus wanna where does ur info come from. How many times have u read the manga and watched the anime
5:54 dont disrespect me we have the bands over there in the sand
I love these videos good job man
Dude what is the name of background song ... Keep going with this great things you do :)
Honestly it's a bit of headcanon but it makes a lot of sense.
o and thx for the snack sponcer
yes the anime saying during Jiraiya's/Nagato's back story that it was the third war was a mistake. it was the suppose to be the second when that three great shinobi got their name and a while later, in the third, the fourth hokage got his fame. based on the age and everything, the 3rd war was probably really long because stuff like Kushina getting kidnapped were the events leading up to the third war and by the end the fourth hokage was famous/feared in all nations. this would also mean Kakashi's father would have died during the second, as he was famous alongside and out shined the sanin for a while until his dishonor and suicide. all the Sakumo stuff could have happened in the second and Kakashi getting his fame was in the third.
Of course shizune can stop kidney failure she got plenty of practice helping Tsunade avoid liver failure!
Im still sold on your senjus assimilated into the village to boost overall ninjas bloodlines
