Why do so many people think this is so funny? There's literally no humour there.
They're not stressed doing it largely because they communicate efficiently. Chaotic inefficient (mis)communication is really what makes us stressed out in suc situations.
They ARE stressed, stress is another way to describe adrenaline response. They are methodical, trust one another, and understand checklists.
👏 fantastic einstein
I appreciate you inserting a typo in a comment about miscommunication
It probably helps that they are used to needing to communicate clearly in high-stress situations. An ominous timer probably isn't as stressful as an actual bomb or enemy fire, but they somehow work under those conditions.
Even when you are trained to deal with these kinds of situations, stress is always going to be a given. It’s just a natural human response to a tense situation. The trick is not to not be stressed, it’s how to suppress and overcome it so that you can complete the task calmly and efficiently.
Great communication. Never panicked. Always checked in with each other. This is relationship goals, guys.

I know that people are talking down other gamers for not communicating well but most people have a hard time communicating well under pressure. It’s a skill that you hone and that’s just a testament to how good these guys are
Maybe it's just me, but I take great fun in the chaos. It's a goofy party game. While it's cool to see someone do it the "right" way, I would get bored of the game so quick if I was able to do it that efficiently with no deaths.

most impressive thing is their communication skill
This is the difference between a pro and an Amateur anyone could do what the just did, but can the do it in one try, with this level of communication and actually look better the tougher it got.
One of the biggest thing I've missed after leaving the Army is constant communication, yet to see much like it in the civilian world. If there are 2 of you in a room, you're actively doing something together and relying on each other.
That's the thing. Their lives did depend on clear communication before so it just comes naturally to them.

They're pretty in sync. I mean, even when the guy describes the modules wrong the manual guy still gets it right.

I work in a kitchen and when I'm training new people i always explain that minimal, concise communication is best. Consolidate all the info you need to get across in as few words as possible, so we don't waste precious time and mental energy working out what is needed. I'm not working with bombs, but how they communicate was so similar to how we talk in a kitchen, and so validating for some reason. If you ever meet someone who responds with "Heard" to acknowledge what you said, they've been a line cook.
