The documentary aims to shed light on the impact of endometriosis on the lives of women worldwide through their testimonies.
23 countries are represented.
In January 2020, several hundred women responded to a common questionnaire, filmed themselves, and sent in their videos.
Endometriosis is a chronic disease characterized by the presence of tissue similar to the endometrium outside the uterus, colonizing other organs in the body. It affects 1 to 2 women out of 10 worldwide, totaling 200 million women and adolescents.
From Paris to Geneva, Tunis to Kenya, Quebec to London, despite their differences, they share the experience of injustice, delayed diagnosis, medical wandering, lack of treatment, and physical and emotional suffering.
There are as many forms of endometriosis as there are women affected; these are thousands of stories to tell. They also share their hopes and strengths.
