a lot of t-bone in Kirks on this one. Tasty!.... Reminds me of Duke Robillard's approach to slow blues playing. Kids need to list to more t-bone if they're want to be blues players.
We obviously all admire Kirk's playing, but gosh dang, that Dudley Ross knows his way around 6 strings also. I love Kirk but my favorite part of this video is honestly Dudley
oh man what a guitar player..., beautiful blues tone i saw kirk playing with chris cain, both unbelivable... kirk can play go kirk....love your playing man
Just found this guy and he's an absolutely amazing guitar player, but that voice! I got goosebumps, gives me a huge bb king vibe and a big srv vibe as well

Kirk is the only one that reminds me of great BB .. still a mistery how he gets this full tone playing basically on the bridge. P.s. Dudley has the blues too 🖖🏻🎸
@@AdamQwadam sure... But If i pick closer to the bridge, even if by using the neck pickup only, the sound is more "twangy".. despite picking closer to the bridge he creates a "round" sound... Magic 🎸🖖🏻 P.s. Kirk got the blues, would listen for hours... 😉
Christopher Petrides Hi Christopher, he was using a 633 amp, bit like a Fender Bassman crossed with a twin, straight in with no pedals that night, he had the amp properly cranked, lovely guy as well!!

Well I have watched this dozens of times and can watch it dozens more.
Thank you for sharing this. What a great angle. That guitar is delicious. Make me want to plug in and wake the neighbors up.
Damn, juicy juicy Lester tones… second guitarist was really nice, but Kirk’s tone and phrasing… oh my. Both killed it… lovely post
There's no medicine like the Blues !
T Bone Walker comes to mind...i can dig it..
All Peace and Love, Ty Ty, Kirk.
Dear god, those trills and chromatics and muted notes …. So gorgeous. Thank you
This is a badass band love the slow blues thanks
masterpiece. Kirk is one of the masters of jamming the blues
Lawd lawd that boy’s funky. Smear some grease on it. 🤙🤙❤️
Out of this world!! Amazing Kirk!
Man, I love how tasteful he is. Always interesting variations, but everything works together.. Kirk wows me, every time.
Man, what a great audience
Long Live The Blues
I was thinking he sounds like BB King. I Love it!

Man o man.... that sound! No words 👑
He loves what he's doing !
Kirk Fletcher is insane, I must seem him play live!
Masterful phrasing and tone. The Les Paul is the ultimate sound.I have to be careful accessing his videos because I don't want to leave!
Hey Robert, if you get the chance, go seem, i know he is touring again in September, i am going to fly over again and meet him, nice guy great player!

Kirk is amazing!
Outstanding!!!! Man this guy has such taste.
Gotta love a Bb blues....Kirk is the man.
My late friend, sax player Dennis Taylor used to say " B flat , the peoples key."
Dudley (the other guitar player?) stole this one for me. Such great expression and phrasing.
Intense et old school 👌
WoW !!!
Also sweet Otis Rush lick from Kirk
Insane how this dude and CT Fletcher are brothers!
Bro, I had to google it to believe it. That is crazy!
Weightlifting and guitar playing is a must .
Um dos grandes guitarristas deste século!
je ne connaissais pas ce mec, mon dieu qu'il joue bien !
Sock Lay Blues
Kirk Fletcher is C.T Fletcher's little brother... How awesome!
i just found that out today
Awesome 😋
Go Kirk....!
Nice tone my brother 😎
Add a little bit of BB, a little bit of Clapton and a lot of Kirk and you got a tasty blues number that is A#1!
He even threw in a short T Bone lick…

yup
Did anyone else hear a smidgen of Albert Collins in there at the start
Why did this video have to end?
Kirk is the only one that reminds me of great BB .. still a mistery how he gets this full tone playing basically on the bridge. P.s. Dudley has the blues too 🖖🏻🎸
Hit the nail on the head, I never got to see BB, but I feel Kirk is this generations BB King without a doubt!
@@rdshred4 Indeed... Kirk is the only that can use less notes to say more... another mistery is the humbucker that sounds as a single coil
@@walterredaelli7507 I believe he's achieving that sound by picking the strings closer to the bridge, resulting in a more "trebly" sound
@@AdamQwadam sure... But If i pick closer to the bridge, even if by using the neck pickup only, the sound is more "twangy".. despite picking closer to the bridge he creates a "round" sound... Magic 🎸🖖🏻

Peter green?
That isn't Kirk Fletcher. It's a rare tape of the young B. B. King ...
Its the closest i will ever get to seeing B.B, i have thought about that everytime i have seen Kirk!
Fine!!!what amp did he use here???
Richard, any clue what amp Kirk was using? Great player indeed.
Christopher Petrides Hi Christopher, he was using a 633 amp, bit like a Fender Bassman crossed with a twin, straight in with no pedals that night, he had the amp properly cranked, lovely guy as well!!
heh, properly cranked... yeah I guess that night was worth the hearing damage ;-)
(my hearing damage, that is...)
I hear a lot of Ronnie Earl in this
Me too now you mentioned it.
Who's the other guitar player?
Gianluigi Martone That's Dudley Ross on the other guitar
To slow and boring to me.
Fucking poser
Don’t listen, go away
Get your hearing checked out - I’m worried about you.
Metal Head
Haha this is pure gold man! Creme de la creme ..top of the stack...😂
