The very fact that ICC withdrew its investigation of US war crimes in Afghanistan after US sanctions and threatens their investigators pretty much destroyed any creditability for the organization.
They once convicted a civilian from Serbia for 10 years because NATO bombed a building he owned and killed 16 innocent lives. The NATO war criminals never got charged by the ICC. His name is Dragoljub Milanović. It's absolutely an impartial kangaroo court and the judges should be held accountable

In addition, US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo announced that the United States had restricted the issuance of visas for certain unnamed individuals “involved in the ICC’s efforts to investigate US personnel.”
The sanctions on Bensouda and Mochochoko implemented a sweeping executive order issued on June 11, 2020 by President Donald Trump. This order declared a national emergency and authorized asset freezes and family entry bans against ICC officials who were identified as being involved in certain activities. Earlier, the Trump administration had repeatedly threatened action to thwart ICC investigations in Afghanistan and Palestine.
Aside from Iraq, there is also Libya,Syria, Afghanistan,Africa not to forget many countries in South America which were also victims of American government policy of invading "unfriendly" countries.

In truth, if we went after Putin, there would be many more going to the ICC, and not just Americans - there will be many Indians and PRCers and others in the docks. Apparently, you can't be charged with war crimes if you successfully annex a nation, and convince or bully others around to accept your case that you didn't fight an aggressive war. If Iraq or Libya opens a case against the USA (and I would argue, some Americans would gleefully encourage them) it then opens a can of worms - Kashmiris can attempt to sue Pakistan and India, and Vietnamese may demand a case opened against China too.

When I served in the military, our solemn duty was to defend our nation, it never mentioned invading other sovereign countries.

Applaus for this speech. I live in the Netherlands and I see the ICC as a playground for the US and European countries. If it was a real independent organisation it has to give arrest warrants to these Anglo American war criminals.

Well, hopefully this will make people realize that 'international justice' must be backed up by real power. If you have real power, you get a free pass. This is because we do not actually have any global standards for truth, justice, equality, even if many countries try to find some standards. Additionally, bringing a perceived perpetrator to justice requires that someone come pick him up. To apprehend a suspect, you need power behind you. All countries have their own police and courts of justice, but there is no real 'world police' or 'international court of justice', yet, just a sketch of those institutions. Who knows, maybe it will happen sometime in the future.
And for what it's worth, I think it is highly unlikely that Putin will ever be brought to the ICC. He, after all, has a lot of power himself.

I somehow don't agree with the the part USA shouldn't help Ukraine. According to Budapest Memorandum, both Russia and USA have the duty to help Ukraine when it's invaded. Besides, Ukraine is country which give up nuclear weapon in return of the promise of being protect by multiple counties. If it is annexed by Russia this time and USA don't provide any protection, it will be a decisve reason for all countries trying to get nuclear weapon.
I don’t usually think whataboutiism is useful. Here it is though since Putin is being indicted for specific war crimes as set out in international law. Starting a war is not a war crime per se as spelled out in international law. Maybe this should be changed.
Within war there are differences in how it is waged, and what soldiers are permitted to do when they come across civilians or surrendered soldiers. Or with children in Putin’s case.

"If the 'Taiwan independence' separatist forces act under any pretext or means to cause the separation of Taiwan from China, or if a serious incident occurs in connection with the separation of Taiwan from China, or if the possibility of peaceful reunification is completely lost, the state shall take non-peaceful means and other necessary measures to protect China's sovereignty and territorial integrity."

While most of that preamble was fair, saying that Ukraine is wrong not to pursue peace negotiations is a daft statement. Ukraine is morally justified in not wanting to settle for ceding ANY of its territory and Russia won't accept an option of backing down without anything to show for it. This is called an impass and is why negotiations have failed to gain any traction.
