Agreed, there is no bad masterverse figure yet, they all are super cool and well done. My bottom two would be Skelegod and Andra and not because they are bad, they are actually very cool figures, but been brand new characters, its missing the sentimental value. I agree with for the most part with your list. I would include Roboto and HeRo instead of maybe Catra and Sorceress Evil Lyn. To pick my top ten from 2022, it's almost a coin flip.
Aw He-Ro and Roboto are terrific! And I do get how sentimental value can factor in, especially when all things are pretty much equal. I do think it would be easier to rank 2021 Masterverse figures for me personally, not just because there were less figures released in 2021, but also (to me) it's because there were some greater standouts among them, but wow did Mattel hit their stride in 2022. Every figure stands out! Thanks for the great comment!
A fellow Mer-Man admirer! Awesome! Yeah I've seen other people put the Classics gear on the Revelation figure and he does look absolutely brilliant with it. Good thinking... and thanks for watching / commenting Taylor!
Awesome video.I just purchased my first MOTU figure with it being the Revelation's He-Man. He was only ten bucks and I couldn't resist. My wife also bought Sun Man for Christmas last year. ☀️💪🏽
That's awesome! Collecting even a few of these figures can be a lot of fun, and you definitely have a couple of nice ones and $10 is a great price! Thanks for sharing, and the nice words!
Can't argue with that excellent 1-2 punch my brother! Imagine those were the only two you purchased and displayed together. What a stark contrast! It just shows how versatile the Masterverse brand has become. I just love it! 👏
@For Eternia Official Totally, bro! I like how positive and open minded your are with this stuff and line! It's OK not to like a certain figure or thing they did with that figure. But many people hate everything about the line or figures. I think many of them are Awesome!

Indeed! Especially with Revolution coming out this year 🤞 The weird choices for me are Mer-Man and King Grayskull at #1. I would have put Beast Man at #1 he was outstanding! I’m getting a second one to display
I would exchange Catra and Horokoth Lyn for Roboto and Teela classic to be honest, but overall a very solid list! I absolutely agree with King Grayskull, he is probably my favorite figure along with Battlecat, such a magnificent work Mattel did ❤ I understand if a lot of people hates his “race swap” in Revelation, but personally the idea of not having the same He Man but bigger, and plus creating a fascinating new design for Grayskull, is perfect for me. Cheers from Argentina!
Roboto and Teela are great figures too! Very deserving of the Top 10, which made compiling this list quite difficult. Happy to hear you agree about King Grayskull - it's such an outstanding figure. Thanks for watching and your feedback Matthew! 🙂
They had a few at Paulmart for sale but they are sold out. I don't know anywhere currently that is selling them. However, one of our viewers in Decembet said that Mattel, responding through Facebook, indicated we should be on the lookout next year (2023) for Two Bad's release. And then someone else said they heard Target will be offering pre-orders in mid-January. So hopefully we'll see something soon!
I really like the Masterverse line, I'm happy they are getting better!! My only real grip is they really need to work on the human faces especially He-Mans & Teela! The Sorceress & Katra came out excellent!!😍

Great list! 👍 In regards to figures and their release year, the way I personally judge it is.... since distribution is so crazy...if even just one figure landed in a consumer's hand that particular calendar year, it started becoming available that year. It's why the Masterverse Tri-Klops didn't appear in this list. A couple figures appeared in December 2021 so I considered it a 2021 figure (even though the majority hit people's hands in 2022). 🙂
What about a stand alone 40th anniversary Skeletor figure? I've got the He-man action figure and it is really cool! I hope this year Skeletor will have his figure as well!

So out of your top 3. King Grayskull still isn't out here in UK. NE Beast Man is and I've had him since August by for some reason he's not clicked with me. And Two-Bad won't be out for some time. :P My favourites of 2022 included Battle Armour He-Man (so far the only NE figure I REALLY like), He-Ro, Sun-Man and She-Ra. Bat-Lyn is one of my faves but she didn't come out until last week (along with Roboto who I like to say is also great but mine had a fault so I sent it back....and received another with a fault so I sent it back... so now I'm hoping third time lucky when the new one arrives in a couple days). :P But yeah anyways I love Masterverse and there are figures to please almost anyone but the ultra snobby elitist MotUC collector types. :)
Thanks for sharing that buddy! Speaking of NE Beast Man not clicking with you, I've had that happen before, where the masses rave about something, but after really trying to like it, I just raise my arms in surrender saying "Something is wrong with me I guess! I just don't get it!" `\😀/'
@@foreterniaofficial Yeah. I do like the figure. He's just not been one I've found myself admiring on the shelf or picking up and playing. Oddly enough I felt similar about Revelation Beast Man who i hated at first as i felt he looked far too bland and generic like from any fantasy based franchise. But the cartoon made me like the character a lot. I think that's a big thing for me. I don't really go for toys that just look cool, I have to like the character too and that's usually done in the media whether it's cartoon, movie, game, tv show or comic. And if we got NE Beast Man get a bit of story in the Masterverse comic the figure may click with me more. Or I may just enjoy the toy more on some random day in the future. :)
I pre-ordered those too! But I only counted what actually started shipping and showing in the hands of consumers in 2022, and since the pre-orders only occurred in 2022, but the the actual customer physical shipments & sightings of the Abloh figures occurred in January 2023, I didn't count those. Thank you so much for watching, and making sure! Appreciate it! 🙂👍
Hopefully they go light on figures sourced from Revolution or this line will most likely go back to being dead in the water. No offense to those who liked Revelation, but it's no secret that the figures from it shelf rotted.
Thanks for watching! Actually, at least according to Mattel, the Masterverse launch appears to have been a success (which makes sense. They wouldn't have continued the line with more Revelation figures if they were losing money.) foreternia.com/2022/02/masterverse-motu-helps-lead-a-successful-fourth-quarter-2021-for-mattel
@For Eternia Official Hey, however they want to spin it... just look at current prices for the first couple waves of Revelation figures, remember back to all those experiences of walking into Target only to find 8 Andras waiting for you lol. If they can present all that as profitable, more power to them. But my main concern is figures people want finding their way to the pegs. I just worry if they produce 3 waves of Revolution figures we'll have to wait a year or so for all that stuff to move before we can get the equivalent of New Eternia Two-Bad in the line again. My guess, there won't be a slew of Revolution Masterverse figures.

TWO-BADASS
😄 Love it!
U forgot the Virgil abloh figures
What an "internet pleaser" list. Terrible
Sorry you weren't a fan of it, but it's my honest to goodness personal 2022 Top-10. Thanks for watching, though!
