Yeah uyghur seems to be a mix of turkic language like kazakh and persian.. The chance it is a turkic or a persian word is about half half i suppose but the core is turkic.
I made special food for Iranian Nowruz this weekend, but I have been thinking of making some Uyghur bread, so I will definitely try this! The flavours, the flowers, the amazing birdsong, your enthusiasm... perfect remedy for lockdown blues.
