I am getting this "skipping" sound when I open the serum plugin and start using it. In FL studio, it says the CPU is not overloaded. I have no other plugins running, or FX, and it still skips when I use it. This is new and has never happened before. It sounds like a scratched CD skipping, if anybody is old enough to remember what that sounds like. Any suggestions?
Find it weird cause when I install my drum kits and etc… into fl studio it seems like the loops are messing with my cpu but when I load up analog lab or something it works fine, what should I do?
Made sure wouldn’t run into crashes so first thing I did was customise my computer. Total cost came to nine thousand something 😬.. still can’t make beats for shi….still learning tho 😁.
FL Studio from 20 onwards is so heavy on CPU, it surpasses Ableton. Every time I install the newer version of FL I endup uninstalling it because of it high CPU usage.

what about FL-Cloud is this also CPU heavy and is there a way to turn it off?
