- Ian takes on the task of adding an AEM AFR Gauge to his 1972 Celica track car build. You could use this as a how to guide but it wasn't really intended that way. The basics are this:
- Install an oxygen sensor in your downpipe from the manifold to the exhaust.
- Install the air fuel ratio gauge somewhere cool in the car and get it key on power.
- Run the wires from the O2 to the gauge.
- Drive and tune.

so I just added one to my car, 77 with sidedrafts, how has it been working so far
Honestly it’s a little bit jumpy. Could be dodgy voltage or maybe the fact that the exhaust doesn’t seal fully after the header but the gauge seems to do its job flawlessly.
@@oioracing yeah I might have to go to a no vacuum advance distributor
@@70ronin54 they do make tuning tricky.. especially if you use the wrong port for vac advance :D
