As someone who works on cars, you absolutely can plug an obd2 scanner in while the car is running, in fact, for some live data pids and what have you, the engine HAS to be running
Evan Mclemore hot plugging any electronics has been stupid for generations. It’s honestly moderately stupid on anything from blenders to USB ports.

I am really surprised no one has made a video on 2016 Ford Escape and Forscan. I have done a few things with my Escape. I enabled Bambi mode( bright headlights and fog lights stay on together). I enabled global wIndows up and down with my key fob.
I have same car and paint job I love it
I want to do three things to my Ford Endeavour (based on Ford Ranger, with Sync 3):
* Adding the TPMS to the cluster
* Auto folding of side mirrors when the car is locked from outside
* Deactivate the irritating warning chimes for seatbelts
My car is brand new, Nov 2018 make. I have zero clues about ForScan and OBD2 adapterals.... hence, if you could make an instructinal video for the same or tell me where to find one, that will be really helpful.
Do you know the modules to disable Auto Start/Stop feature? I found them for the f150, but can't for the '17 Fusion.
And what kind of LED kit did you get for high beam, can you mention the link
my edge 2016 titanium does not keep the parameters :( once I modify everything with the forscan works fine but few hours later doesn't do anything, do you have any idea about this issue? thank you
Where can I get forscan obd plug? I'm actually buying my fusion tomorrow. And I sadly park on the street so I would LOVE those automatic folding mirrors. And can you remove safety features like typing while driving? (like say the passenger is entering in an address to the GPS while I drive?)
Do you have the part number for your HVAC/Radio control button panel? I want to replace my stock setup in my 2015 with what you have.
Would be nice to know how I add auto wipers to my fiesta mk8 as it has the auto lights but wipers are manual and I’ve heard the sensor is there but you have to activate it. Any help much appreciated thanks Sean.

Can you set the economy drive to come on when you start your f 150 platinum .
In regards to the mirrors dipping in reverse. My drivers mirror dips down but then the glass tilts away, so i cant see the kerb. Is there a way to adjust how much the mirrors move when reverse is selected? Thanks

Matthew Knice wow bit pricey are they really bright though
They are bright, I believe theyre expensive due to the type of bulb they are (proprietary connector) and the fact they must be error free for the car to recognize them. Even without the FORScan modding, the bulbs will not hyperflash. But the inside of the car (cluster) will. But FORScan will fix this as demonstrated in the video.

Hey Matthew. I have a 2016 Ford Fusion. I too am looking to add Navigation. I just ordered the Elm327, SD Card and so on. Did you ever make the video on how to add Navigation? I've done a ton of research, know what has to be done but a visual is always better. I'd appreciate the help.
Also, I have the newest version of Sync loaded and purchased the A8 map card (newest) also. I was wondering if I am, like forums have said, have to load the 3.8 version back on first, then update the version software after again?

What is it called in FORScan to disable when these fusions want to auto shutdown after 25 min or whatever it is? I hate that. Traveling and sleeling in the car, i dont want the car shutting down if i need to stay warm/cool for awhile.

I have enabled the intelligen awd gauge and it is there. But I does nothing, is there something else that has to be activated or another code that needs changed. Depending on what year your vehicle is:
Auto Re-Lock Enable (2015-2016s)
BCM - 726-15-02 == 0101-0101-0149 [if vehicle unlocked with fob, auto relocks after 45 seconds]
Auto Relock enable (2017-present)
BCM - 726-15-02 == 0101-0101-0149
BCM - 726-21-01 == xxxx-x1xx-xxxx
BCM - 726-38-02 == xxxx - xxx* - xxxx (* Auto Relock Time Duration 1=30 seconds, 2=45 seconds)

To enable both the Digital Speedometer and the Tire Pressure Monitor, youll need FORScan and it will be under the IPC. Tire Pressure Screen: 720-04-01: x48x-xxxx-xxxxDigital Speedometer: 720-07-01: xxx1-xxxx-xxxx

For some reason with my 2014 fusion the passenger mirror will tilt down and way out instead of a little in after modding in forscan.
Yes, you need to train it. To do this, youll need to turn the car off. Now place the car in accessory (ignition on, engine off) and select the first memory button. Now select the left mirror button. Place the car into reverse. WAIT until the mirror has stopped ALL MOVEMENT. Now readjust it to where you want it to go. Place the car into park. WAIT for the mirror to move back to the previous position (driving mode). Now select the passenger mirror. Do the same thing. When its back to the driving position press and hold the memory 1 button to save the changes until you hear the second beep. You may have to repeat this procedure several times.

Yes, also if it doesn't work, try shutting the car off and trying again. Some cars also work with the engine running some don't. Its a huge pain in the ass but once they are trained its amaze balls.

Yes the problem on the headlights has a drl and need to install a relay when you turn off the drl with forscan the problem will be solved 👍

If you're vehicle is 2015-2019, this should work for you. I have done it on my 2016 Ford Edge. Cheat sheet for a 2015-2019 F150 (Most mods are universal for Ford)
Fake engine noise disable:
ACM - 727-01-01 -- [xxxx - x0xx-xxxx] ONLY change where the 0 shows leave the other letters/numbers where the X's are.
DSP - 783-01-01 -- [Exxx-xxxx] **
Why didn't you just do a whole Sync 3 upgrade if you went ahead and added nav to your fusion anyways?
I almost did that but I like sync 2 better than sync 3 personally

Yes, every ford made after 2008 will work with all modules so long as you get the right OBDII cable and forscan.

Yes you can, I just did it to my car.

Rear doors no, and the cupholders only light up on the Ford Mondeo cup holders which can be bought from a Ford dealership in Europe only.

You guys both need the navigation file system installed for this to work. Make sure you’re on the latest update (3.08 for MyFord Touch) and I can shoot you a copy of the files.

Yes, it will.
What year is your car? I'm trying to figure out if the digital speedo will show up on my 2014 titanium
The digital speedometer will only show up on 2015+ Fusions. The same goes for the tire pressure monitor. If you really have to have it though, you can swap out your instrument cluster with one from a 15, 16, 17 or 18 Fusion.

When I turn on the ignition, the interior lighting flashes (fully on / off).
This happened after trying to adapt the pressure sensors from Fusion 2018 to 2015 with a TPMS programming device. And the mechanic accidentally changed / uploaded the bcm from 2018
Additionally, you could say whether these TPMS pressure sensors Ford USA 315Mhz F2GT-1A180 can be programmed for Fusion 2015 year.
can use forscan, can't hold a camera properly
Actually you can tune up your car with forscan If you driving diesel 2.0l diesel. 150hp is same like 180hp, just electronically limited. So it's possible depends on engine 😊😊😉😉.
