    The ich you pointed out is actually anchor worms which is also very well-known in goldfish as well, and extremely difficult to get rid of. It looks like a splinter sticking straight out of the fish. Ich is just white spots kinda looks like mold would except white and not black.

      Correct. I’ve had guppies before and they had a case of white spot.

    I had 2 Gold Fish since 2017,1 recently died from Fin Rot,and I had no idea about Fin Rot.I thought it was just either age or the other fish attacked her-shredding her fins to hell.Now,my only Gold Fish left has now started to get Fin Rot.No way in hell I'm letting her die,this video was a huge help.Going to start treatment immediately!Thank you!

    Thats a lot of meds....ld try a salt bath first. That tank is overstocked and very very boring so ld not be surprised the fish were sick....oh.....DONT USE TAP WATER.....use RAINWATER or buy clean water and dechlorinate...here in lreland tap water would kill many aquarium fish.

    • @MalakAlMaut6860
      @MalakAlMaut6860 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Use tap safe. Basically what he's done in the video but using raw chemicals. Good video 👍

    Pink salt can be used in aquarium?

      Absolutely no! Killed My fish cause of lack of knowledge 😢! Only use aquarium salt!!

  • @drgnflyluv00
    @drgnflyluv00 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Very important! Add the anti chlorine right after the clean water or before. The chlorine can kill the fish or damage the gills.

    Its an internal parasite you could treat it with api general cure which contains Metronidazole and Praziquantel thats very effective in curing these type of disease. Bloating in fish is also sometimes cause by internal parasites because they eat the nutrients 😊

    For internal parasites you can also feed boiled green pees.
    And use normal rock salt treatment for the good health.
    Medicines must be used only when diseases or symptoms are too severe.

    For everyone watching this all this treatment is meant to sone in separate tank or bucket these treatment could kill the beneficial bacteria imp. For fishes.
    And also the quantity of fish in the tank nd the filter used in this video seems is not balanced plz use a hang on back atleast. 🙏🏻

      Remove any carbon that may be in filter. Lights off is better. Food is fine if they will eat it. Some fish lose their appetite when sick or stressed. Good luck.

    Hi, I'm worried sick about my Black Moor who appears to have fungus infection and I can't find any answers nowhere. I hope someone can advice me.
    My infected fish is already in a hospital tank. Now I've added the recommended dosage of methylene blue per liter and also placed an air stone for oxygen. Now my questions are:
    (A) Won't my fish need beneficial bacteria anymore?
    (B) Can I / Should I feed my fish?
    (C) How often or do I even need to do water change?
    (D) When should I add more methylene blue?
    Pleaseeeee

    My dad wanted to surprise for my birthday with 2 fish and those fish were swordtail fish… he ended up putting them in my blackmoor gold fish tank and when I work up to feed them the next day I noticed that all my smaller fish were hiding and the Blackmoors tail and fines were literally ripped apart 😭 I then took those 2 swordtail fish out of the tank and put them in a bowl because I didn’t have a tank😭 idk what to do with them now

    I had one fish that started loosing its tail, I'll use the term tail because I dont know what all parts of fish are called, maybe I'm talking about a fin, who knows?
    Okay, so it started loosing that, and eventually it died. Prior to that, it began isolating itself from others a lot, didn't each much, then it died.
    Now again, one of my pretty goldfish, the all gold one, has also started loosing it's tail and isolating itself. I don't know what causing this to happen. Maybe it's because I did 100% water change and only added the blue coloring thing also known for conditioning the water and thought that's it, perfect! As long as the water looks so clean, and the filters are in place, as well as that blue thing, all is well.

      "You started with 5 fish,at the end of the video there were 4.So,does that mean 1 fish out of the 5 didn't make it(a fish died),leaving you 4?" Is what the person means.
