To be honest, I do miss the R42s as well. Here's my idea: (4) Woodlawn to Yankee Stadium (D) Yankee Stadium to 125th St (A) 125th St to Jay St - MetroTech (F) Jay St - MetroTech to 4th Ave / 9th St (R) 4th Ave / 9th St to 59th St (N) 59th St to Coney Island (Q) Coney Island to Prospect Park (S) Prospect Park to Franklin Ave (C) Franklin Ave to Broadway Junction (J) Broadway Junction to Jamaica Center Great video as always. Have a great day, and keep up the good work.
I’ve always had a big idea to do the 7 to court square, the G to Hoyt-Schermerhorn, the A to Franklin Ave, the shuttle do prospect park, the B to Broadway Lafayette, the F to Delancey/Essex (second avenue on the F, for some reason, is one of my favorite stations) and the J/M/Z) across the Williamsburg.
I have a suggestion: Take the E to Court Sq - 23 St Take the G to Metropolitan Av Take the L to 14 St - Union Sq Take the 4/5 to Brooklyn Bridge Take the J to Canal St Take the N to Atlantic-Barclays Take the Q to Church Av Take the B to Grand St And that's were you end your trip
Technically that was the R46. The R46 and R68/A are both 75 feet long and the R68 was originally supposed to be a continuation of the R46 order called the R55. Instead it was delayed till later and became a combo of the R62/A and R46.

R42 is literally the train that later developed into the R68/A and the R62/A that we know today
