@@sanderflop Have you ever been in a marriage that's headed for divorce? The despair is so intense, it's probably as bad as the divorce itself - basically the first stages of the Kubler-Ross's stages of grief. Fortunately enough, Britta taught me in season 3 that the last stage of grief is acceptance and so now my marriage just seems like a bad dream!
I've honestly watched that "Butcher and the Baker" tag like 30 times. It's immaculately acted and every detail in it is just perfect. The fact that there's some ridiculous supernatural aspect to it makes it all the better. THEN LET ME BE YOUR LEGS.
What's really hilarious about the "Butcher and the Baker" tag is how it is a callback to the "Depends on what fails" tag from the end of season 5, implying that Community was the show that NBC cancelled and replaced by the Shirley spin-off.
TIL on Reddit that in the iPad ending the janitor that shows up is Dan Harmon's old friend Abed who Abed Nadir was named after. So when Abed commands all the Abed's that's why he really chimes in with the eradicate. Meta jokes ftw.
So, am I the only person who actually teared up and laughed their ass off at the same time during, The Butcher and the Baker? Cuz the music when she was like "then let me be your legs" makes it sad af, like damn, then Shirley does the "until we find your wife, or yo legs" and I just die
Disagree. These end credits (along with the season's cinematography) were so different from previous seasons. Not involving the core cast members in many of them created a disconnect.
@Pencils Yeah, at least season 4 had charm and heart even when it wasn't laugh out loud funny. Season 6 had some clunkers. Episodes that felt contrived, without real purpose or impact on the group. Grifting 101, the Honda episode, and the road trip with the giant hand are three that come to mind. That said, the final three episodes were quite strong and made buying the season worth it due to the iTunes sale.
Max Minton Exactly. The appeal of the outro was spending more time with the main characters. What do I care about some homage if it is divorced from them? That said, the finale outro was major.
"Felt like I owe him my life. Apparently he agreed." Hahahahah I loved Season 6 generally, but even from these end credits, you can tell it's a bit different.. in a weird way. Jeff as a teacher didn't really work for me.
That's probably what most think. I'd say I mostly agree, though 3 had a lot of highlight episodes for me, like the Documentary and flashback episodes, so I'd say it's my favorite. The interesting thing about season 6 is that while the first few seasons are kinda smarter, 6 is great at piling on jokes.
Portuguese Gremlins seems, by this comment section, to be the least popular, but I dunno man The profanity of the kneejerk translation in the title really seems like a gift for all Portuguese speakers out there
Gillian Jacobs and Alison Brie are great actresses.. This whole cast was amazing, but those two women can effing act their asses off... And of course Donald Glover is just on a whole 'notha level
I thought there was one where Annie asks Frankie 'how do you say puhscetti?' and Frankie says 'spaghetti' and also Jeff says 'i like twucks. wah' the all have baby bonnets and pacifiers.
It's just a spoof on procedurals with a supernatural twist... They have that kinda cliffhanger moments. I know you made this comment a year ago but there you go
nah thats not true. it sucks without them but they wrapped up the series pretty well without them. most shows that lose vital cast members dont do it as well as them.
it didn't have much of the divine golden nectar that is abundant in season 1-3, but it was in no way "horrible" to me. and the endings were just good sh*t, don't try to deny that.
+Sielose I think seasons 1 to 5 were great till 6 came out I want a season 7 and 8 you can end it at 9 or not maybe don't end it but if they don't end it they'll make it worst or better or worst and better at the same time hmm...
My favourite season is is season 5, but season 6 was crap. Awful new characters, somehow an even worse Paintball episode than Seasons 4's, no Troy, and a mess of a finale.
Plus, what was up with the lighting of season 6? Compare scenes from the study room to any of the previous seasons and it looks so different, looks lighter giving it a more artificial and tacky look. It honestly looks like a show you'd see on the Disney Channel.
Season 6 is very different. If you key into it right, it works. Better than season 5 IMO, not quite as good as 2/3. Season 1 had its moments but growing pains with it.
Man. At this point, Harmon was already in full Rick and Morty surrealism mode
And depression.
NBC and the Russo’s probably kept his nihilism at bay
kaptenlemper I don’t know about that, he didn’t get divorced until after the show was over

NOT PENNY'S NOOSE
I love how directly she says "Let me do this every week" on what is presumably a weekly TV show.
The mere idea of a guy in a wheel chair trying to hang himself is comical 😂

That was on CBS
@@stackhat8624no, it was NBC

It reminds me of the baby legs & regular legs sketch in Rick and Morty
"You're not allowed to have baking things as an identity!"
Or are you...
The Japanese teenager one is the best
Fully.
The guy with the anime profile picture likes the Japanese ending best. I'm stunned. :p
Nah Shirley's spin off and the finale gag are the best
The olives kid?

Say what you will about season 6 but it did have the best end credits scenes

OscarElite The end credits were just as bad as the season
the guy from Jeff's gym with ridley is the best one. so fucking hilarious.
Honestly the one about the giant hand is one of the greatest comedy television scenes I've seen , and I watch a lot of shows.
I agree. You do watch a lot of shows.
Some episodes, too conceptual to be funny.
Some too funny to be immersive.
And some so immersive, that it's still not funny.
Literally Rick and Morty
Huh... Shirley's identity did become baking (Remedial Chaos Theory).
"Felt like I owe him my life. Apparently he agreed." Hahahahah

6:33 - Yep, that's life in 2020.
Community was always streets ahead.
Here is my ranking of the seasons
1. Season 2
2. Season 1
3. Season 3
4. Season 6
5. Season 5
6. Season 4
Of course this is just my opinion.
That's probably what most think. I'd say I mostly agree, though 3 had a lot of highlight episodes for me, like the Documentary and flashback episodes, so I'd say it's my favorite.

caleb leyva that's my exact list
i actually love every season expect for season 4
Season 3 is my favorite. If I ever want to go back and watch a few episodes, most of them are from season 3.
That's actually the correct answer.
the gremlins one is my favorite but the last one was crazy
Japanese teenager is best, Guy from Jeff's gym close second.
It's funny how the compilation could be one episode
That boardgames one...I feel unsettled
community existing in the tv show universe where all the genres exist make me so happy, i can't describe it
Dan had some rough times but at least he can still have a good time
omg I just realized the janitor is Real Abed.
How so?
@@JaylukKhan real abed is abed gheith, dan harmon's irl friend that the character abed was based on

I would legitimately watch The Butcher and The Baker

is that Pedro Pascals voice i hear speaking Spanish in the gremlins Homage?
Never noticed that every name in the credits of "The Butcher and the Baker" is some variation on "Fake Credit."
my favourite was 6:31
I would watch 'The Butcher and The Baker'
the idea of a living noose tho
What about the case of my wife and legs Shirley?
3:02 that sounded like the Boo laugh from Mario

The swamps of Atlanta? :D

they're speaking spanish. those are spanish goblins. we are a separate nation that WILL NOT BE HUMILIATED LIKE THIS

That was during "Modern Espionnage" (6x11), but it was the scene right before. The end scene of the episode was the Garrett/Vicki show.
why was the rope moving in the first scene?

Actually what Abed said about WASD isn't true it was popularized by a professional quake player
So Shirely ended up on a tv show?
Abed said once in season 5 that when a show is ending characters always find their way into a spin-off, it was kinda of a callback
no
le fabuleux destin d amelie poulain
Too heavy on the last one. Jesus.
i have never seen any of these because this show stopped existing to me after season 3
Sucks to be you. Season 6 was great. And 5 was good
Good for you, Kali. The world is a better place thanks to your snobby comment.
this is not Community
Without Troy and Pierce community isn't funny anymore.
And Shirley, don't forget Shirley
But..... did you not just watch this video???
This is just false, season 6 is community at its funniest. As good as the best of seasons 1-3.
nah thats not true. it sucks without them but they wrapped up the series pretty well without them. most shows that lose vital cast members dont do it as well as them.
they also lost the russo brothers after season 3
It's sad how this show ended. I mean, that last season was horrible.
