-It's more fluid and sheer than the recent Les Beiges foundation
-It's just as hydrating as the Water Fresh Tint
-There is absolutely no oxidation, the shade stays the exact same all day long
I love this foundation! I was happy for an early Australian release, very unusual! It wears so well and feels beautifully light on the skin 😊

Like many, I’ve been awaiting on any information regarding this foundation for a few weeks now since I noticed someone mention this overseas...
Honestly, I was considering purchasing the new-ish Tom Ford radiance foundation with pump a while ago (150$ USD I believe) but Chanel has been my first love for a very long time (more than 30 years) and I’m so glad I didn’t get the Tom Ford. It looks lovely but.. I prefer Chanel. Additionally, I worked for Chanel in the late 80s so, it’s definitely a first love. And I’m loyal.
I’m currently in the USA so also a bit surprised it didn’t appear on the Chanel website yet. I’m truly hoping it’ll be available ASAP!

I wonder if it would work for my oily skin. I don’t like a very matte look that’s typically suggested for my skin type. One of my favorite foundations is Dior Skin Glow

Hi Allison, I bought the Chanel Le Teint foundation and I must give you a lot of credits for recommending this amazing product. The B10 shade suits me so well, it’s wonderful. I mixed it up with the La Prarie foundation shade Tender Ivory and the result is the beautiful glass skin with skincare benefits. I finally found something that I’ve dreamed of. Great review Allison! I would love to hear your thoughts and a comparison with the new Chanel Les Beiges. It has quickly become a favorite of mine. It’s great that Canada is the first market. I hope they don’t wait until spring to release this in the United States since we are quickly approaching a cold dry winter and this looks nice and hydrating.
Hi Tricia! I hope it reaches the US market soon too. I think this Sublimage foundation is more fluide and a bit more sheer than the Les Beiges and also has more of a soft velvet finish.

Wow it is really nice to see someone from Montreal. I went to the bay last week and I got advice but now you have convinced me to try. It. I started using the les beige eau de tient. I love this and one coworker has noticed it that it makes my face glowing. So I will try it because I have dry skin and also of my age.

Hi Allison, I swatch the shades and textures of the sublimage foundations yesterday and found that the texture of the new teinte better than the original one. You are definitely right!

Thank you for your thorough review. Can you do a side by side comparison of it with the new Les Beiges? I do find the Les Beiges pretty sheer. Do you have the same shade in both? B20 in Les Beiges new formulation is perfect for me. The old version LB in B20 was okay for summer, but a bit dark otherwise.

The foundation looks great. As does the greenish eye look. The Chanel lady at my local department store knows this foundation exists but had no idea when it reaches this northernmost corner of Europe; a.k.a. Finland. We'll get the holiday collection for Xmas.

Gey Allison. Thank you for thr brilliant video. I tried this foundation lately, its fantastic, but it was roo oily on my skin after couple of hours 😢. My skin is usually normal to combination i guess, and i don't wear make up, so i wanted to rry with something that looks normal skin and does not oxidizes. Do you have any tips how to manage wirh the excessive oily/greasy look. Or shall i consider chanel water fresh / complexion rouch.
Hi dear! That’s a shame but it makes sense because this foundation has Sublimage skincare in it which is much more nourishing and not for oily skin. I think the water fresh tint will be better for you.
Okay, so I've never had any real luck with Chanel foundations in the past. The colour match has been terrible (I'm usually the lightest shade but even their lightest is a bit too dark for me). However, I want to be convinced that I should get this...and it looks fabulous on you so I really do want to try it.

Can you tell us more about your skin tone? Trying to figure out my shade in this foundation. Are you a warm or neutral undertone? I was thinking I may be B30 but when I saw your swatch it looked very warm which I am not.

Great review lovely. Wow what is with Chanel and all these new product reformulations? Your skin is just so beautiful but I’m not sure this one will be for me, although the smell of the vanilla alone tempts me. I just recently added the Chanel Le tint and and the Le beiges to my collection. To be honest my Le tint sat on my shelf in my bathroom for a month because I wasn’t fussed on it. I got the medium deep
So maybe it was just a to dark and applying it how the suggested left me with a streaky finish. I was confused what the hype was about. Until I changed the application a few weeks ago. I do my morning skincare regime, then I am using the camellia water cream and straight after I only use a small pump and just apply it over the face then I gently pat in. Could’ve believe it, it made my skin flawless and it made it appear plump and healthy. I didn’t even need to add concealer or bronzer and surprisingly enough covered most of my pigmentation on my cheeks(I’m 43 with extremely dry skin). I actually think it gives a better finish then the Le beiges which I absolutely love also. Could I ask what your blush and lip colour is?

I just brought coco flash in mood. I love it so much. I was very tempted by live when I saw it but I wasn’t sure sure if it would be to similar to my other shades (I have a bad habit of buying the same). However you have me sold, it gives such a brightening effect
Hi Allison! I use Les Beiges Healthy Glow foundation B40-B50 and Sheer Healthy Glow Tinted Moisturizer in Medium plus. Which shade do you suggest?
B50 in this one should work for you.

I just checked Chanel website, it’s not available on the U.S. site. I love sublimage skincare. I do have a question - Obviously this works really good in winter, but will it work in summer as well? I’ve heard the old formula doesn’t work well in summer. Usually my foundation last for over a year, because I wear occasionally. So I’m curious.......

Hi Jenny! I think this new version would wear well in summer because it's not as dewy. It's really lovely velvet, radiant finish that just looks like perfect skin. The original formula doesn't hold up to hot and humid weather but I think this one would.

Which of the two new Chanel foundations would you recommend, and why? I would like to get this one, but if the Chanel Les Beiges (new version) is just as good, I'd be fine with that.
Hi Loretta! Sorry for missing your comment! The Les Beiges has more of an all day luminous/glowing finish. The new Sublimage has a soft velvet, more natural finish. So it just depends what kind of finish you'd prefer.

Unfortunately I don't have the La Prairie foundation Marya so I can't compare the two.

Thanks for the info. May think about it. I do like the Sisley foundation but I really really like the Surat dew drop foundation. It is also on the dear side. 102.00 American dollars for 19 ml. A little goes a long way but it is like I am wearing no foundation yet blurs pores etc. For me. Can you compare to Surat? Not sure if you bought that one or not. I did not like the old sublimage I found the cream or skincare to rich for me and the jar thing turns me off in any brand.
