First time I've ever seen a firearm restoration involve a 3D printer. I know that FOSSCAD for firearms itself is controversial due to some bad actors, but as a method of restoration and preservation of older firearms, I think it's quite beautiful that we can share and immediately construct parts that would have otherwise relied on 2D blueprints and expensive injection molds. Here's to hoping that the technology may find itself in other preservationists' toolsets for years to come!
I don't think he ended up using the 3D printed part. You can see a seam line typical for injection molds on the new forearm (10:43). Impressive restauration still.
honestly 3d printing parts is the way to go for stuff you can't easily or cheaply get. you can literally do anything that is injection molded. mostly though I see rail accessories. think boot leg Magpul stuff etc.
J'adore la fin avec le petit rappel à jurassique parc. Par contre pour la restauration bravo👏👏👏 Quand on voit le fusil au départ puis à l'arrivée c'est fantastique.
Loved that ending! Also, you inspired me to start restoring guns as well. I was given and old blackpowder revolver that. I tried to build as a teen. It was a mess and did not fire. Well, I fixed it and am in the process of refinishing it. Thanks!
I love the jurassic Park scene 😂😂😂. Thank you for reminding me that was the gun he used in the film 😂😂🤣🤣. Awesome refurbishment. I one day hope to be able to do what you do

How you make items from scratch that are an exact fit and look factory is truly a talent that must a lot of time to figure out. It’s pretty neat to watch.
I was about to say, "isn't this the shotgun from Jurassic Park 1?", until I saw the uploader's comment, "clever girl". When I was 5 I thought the fold out stock on the top of the gun was so cool. It was seared into my brain apparently.
@@1leggeddog Yes I know. Only thing I never understood about the Wraith gun though was that it appears to have both a fixed wooden stock, as well as the folding metal stock. I've never seem either a SPAS-12, or a PA8 fitted with both.
@@1leggeddog nono this is was made for police as well as the spas 12 it is not a civilian version. The civilian market has both, franchi pa8 and spas12.
Just seeing you work gives me the satisfaction of witnessing a job well done, you're the guy doing it, the 3D printing was amazing. It's a lovely shotgun too.

It's really satisfying to watch and hear :D
This is great for learning methods of cleaning and gun cleaning , builds , and etc

The restorations are getting better and better :D the final result of this shotgun is also very good
Nice! That's a retro '80's, early '90's throwback, like the SPAS 12 gauge. Grest job! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Nice work on the restoration! Spot on Jurassic Park skit at the end also.
Doing the lord’s work 🙏
I appreciate the use of magic in this. It's not a common method used nowadays ya know.
Love the Jurassic Park reference lol.
Your editing only makes the video even better. Great restoration, thanks for sharing!

I just had the feeling there will be a re-enactment of THAT scene from Jurrasic Park, but still laughed hard when it came. Excellent restoration!

That was a extraordinary and beautiful restoration plus your sense of humor is very good .
I was thinking about that scene in jurassic park. Didnt expect you would put it here at the end

Finally an actual restoration on an actual gun. I keep seeing all these other restorations of cheap Chinese airsoft guns that make no sense.
