I don't understand why people are calling him fake, I know sometimes people purposefully rust new guns to make content, but this guy's guns all look second hand and the rust on them looks natural from age Keep up the good work, your videos are really relaxing and satisfying
The inside of the barrel can be easily cleaned by electrolysis. Plug the muzzle, put a 3 mm wire inside the barrel, wrapped with insulating tape every 5 cm so that the wire does not touch the walls of the barrel, pour sodium bicarbonate electrolyte and connect to the rectifier. Plus to the wire and minus to weapons. Cleans very thoroughly. After such a treatment, I even shot with pits in the barrel and everything worked. To be sure, you can fire with a link.
Well, not everything is bad. You may not have had the chance to shoot it but at least it's one more Carcano saved from the scrap heap and it looks nice. Even more so because it's a 7,35. Well done, mate.
I was so glad that you didn't try to actually fire it. I've seen so many restorations go bad when the gun explodes from the barrel being pitted. I definitely would give you 10 likes if I could. Beautifully restored and safe!
I joke you not, I have a Springfield 1903 in the same exact condition (except with no bolt)! I currently have it sitting in a bucket of kroil. I'm going to try and get it apart this weekend maybe. Mine came out of Lake Champlain, in upstate New York (like, actually out of the water!)
Sucks it won't shoot again but will look great on a wall somewhere!! Great looking restoration and you did an excellent job restoring it also!!!! Enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
These are some excellent rifles to shoot, with the correct ammo. Carcano rifles are very underrated. I was hopeful, but this weapon was in very bad condition. When he shined a light down the barrel... I knew nobody would be shooting it.
I use a RockWell as a part of my QC job to test the hardness of the iron in the foundry I work at. We use some monocular with a light & measurement scale of .5-1.5 I believe & it tells us if the iron is good. We make safety parts for one of the worlds largest automotive manufacturers. Unfortunately not the best industry to be in atm.
Great restoration! Kind of reassuring that it didn't shoot - that seems really unlikely for a gun in that condition (unless you maybe swapped a few parts like the barrel?).
👌👌👌👌👌💯💯💯💯💯➕➕➕➕➕👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏.
looks like it might have been whacked against something to to break it. I think it was commonly done by troops during the war to not leave any intact weapons behind if collecting them were not possible.
Awesome job my friend it does suck it unable to fire but it's still a rare gun either way you look at it I love that you were able to find the original stock for it and original parts keep up the good work now are you going to do is find the bayonet for it
seeing the rifling alone would if the steel intregity ? wasn't compromised it would have woefully inaccurate to shoot. not a language expert but is that a carbine as the barrel length kind of suggests that. still a beautiful gun once restored. loved that the Italians made the bolt functional to snug down unlike the conversational K98 Mausers
Such a beautiful job my friend! I didn’t expect anything less. What’s neat to this old man is you put as much love and care into this weapon as you would one that could be put back in service. Bravo to you! Just a thought is there such a thing as boring the barrel out and re-rifling it? I imagine it’s because of the lack of hardness. See you in the next installment. Have a great weekend.

Nice mosin rifle
@@tyler12974 its not a mosin, its a carcano
Ñ
You can't fire it for legal reasons or it the metal too weak now ?
Fake or real? can someone tell for sure?
I don't understand why people are calling him fake, I know sometimes people purposefully rust new guns to make content, but this guy's guns all look second hand and the rust on them looks natural from age

The reason as also because there are so many people to do that for content...
But im happy to read comment like you 🙏 thank you
It's unfortunate that the rifle is unsafe to shoot. Still, what an awesome video.
It's rather difficult to get ammo in 7,35 Carcano anyway.
Suddenly… it’s 1943 all over again… and once again the Carcano is fit to drop and run away from … without its EVER Brie going fired!
Yeah man. At least it can be preserved and displayed!
I especially LOVED the sound effect when the weapon was fired - a true 10/10
Is a perfect laser gun!
Nice work! Shame it's not usable but saving it from it's death to rust and time is awesome, definitely a cool wall piece.
One of the few genuine gun restoration channels. Keep up the great work!
Thank you for be here bro 🙏
Saw the still image, automatic thumbs up. Best restoration channel on TH-cam! Much love from north Florida!
Thank you for be here
Another masterpiece! Such a pleasure to watch! Thank you 💕
Excellent restoration. A well experienced technician. Congratulations. God bless.
I don't blame him for not test firing it, that gun is pure ART.
and it would literally blow up if he did anyway because the heat treat is gone
Great restoration mate, and yeah it is only a wall piece now, as the barrel is too far gone.
Dispiace molto anche a me...
Good restoration, I look and feel relieved
*You're just a magician!*
Nice preservation. The stalk used looks great.
I was hoping to see 1 round fired but no worries. Nice restoration though.
Last time someone fired a few rounds from a Carcano in Dallas it didn't end well...
The bore looked totally f**ked, i wouldnt risk shooting anything through it to be honest
Me too! Unfortunately the headspace is screwed up and the no go gauge chambered fine so it would be very unsafe to fire.
Ya that barrel was pretty much shot. All I could think was " that's a fancy bomb. "
This is a work of art, congratulation, delightfull to watch it
6.5 Mannlicher Carcano. The same rifle Lee Harvey Oswald used to shoot Kennedy.
No it's not

Fire with a link is not a firing test.
As you can se, the problem for the barrel is not pitting, but headspace and heat treatmen.

Arthur morgon aint been cleaning his guns
According to a government commission, chaired be Earl Warren, the Italian Carcano was the most accurate, fastest-shooting rifle ever made.
Fantastic restoration of a Carcano Rifle !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you 🙏
This is like a true love story. Beautiful and Tragic
Considering that us vintage qnd you brought it back to life. That has alot of value
The original stock was in great condition
The nopales on top of the hill look delicious!! Good restoration too

Ha! You got me I thought you were going to shoot it, which I was pretty skeptical about. You got us! Great job, love it!

I was going to say "oh .. no hearing protection??" .. a beautiful rifle, for sure.
That end Surprised me!
A collab with Backyard Ballistics would be great
nope, backyard is completelly different way of thinking about restauration.

interesting if you weighed it before and after the amount of rust weighed would be intersting to know about.
You need very precize scale, rust dust weight few grams on that much steel
Is @RestauraTo a licensed gunsmith or just an insanely skilled hobbyist?
I have a linces for repair manufactures and sell civilian weapons. 😉

Amazing restoration mate. Keep going like that and make more and more content! 😊
first video of a gun I've seen you do that wasn't fake
A 7.35 Carcano Carbine. Nice.
Great job!!👏👏👏👏... ficou lindo!!
Truly a beautiful job you did ❤
Thank you roza 🙏😊
good display piece id never fire it by looking down the bore
Beatiful 👍
At least it can be used as a non firing replica.

I KNOW we didn't just GLOSS over the fact that you just added entirely new wood with no explanation of where it came from...
You missed the label "surplus parts".

Ottimo lavoro!
Thank you 🙏
I was very excited to see shooting then we see the comical bang flag.
I have been bamboozled
you are a true artist. brilliant. what does an average rebuild like this cost and how much time?
2 week's of work...
Video top!
good job
Very basatti tattoos Mr Restorator, il duce would be proud.
God bless and excellent work on the Carcano.
🖤
You should have tried one with a warped barrel, that would have been more challenging
Great job looks amazing 👍

Re rifling is not a good ideea for that. Also because the metal of barrel is really "soft"...
@@restaurato6629 seems like it would bea neat candidate for a sleeve job on .22lr
Then they knew how to release a carbine for ever, excellent restoration. 👍
Nice job 👍👍👍👍👍
felicitaciones excelente restauración
Complimenti, gran lavoro 👏👏💪
Grazie mille 😊
Awe man that suspense haha
