Most Beautiful Beach in the UK? - Pedn Vounder Beach, Porthcurno

  • Porthcurno was hands down my favourite location in Cornwall, mostly thanks to this spectacular beach: Pedn Vounder. Definitely less popular than Kynance Cove, this was to me, the most beautiful beach in the whole UK, and much much prettier and relaxing than Kynance Cove.
    On today's vlog we will also go over other attractions in the area such as the unique Minack Theatre and Porthcurno Beach.
    Hope you guys enjoy it, and that you get the chance to visit this beautiful place very soon! ❤️️

    Thank you for this lovely post. I attended part of my University course at The Dental School in Truro Cornwall so would often go exploring Cornwall at the weekends. It’s a very beautiful and diverse landscape. As you pointed out it’s a very difficult climb down to Pedn Vounder ( Treen) Beach . It’s possible at very low spring tides to walk to it from Porthcurno Beach next to it . Although at high tide the whole beach is pretty much submerged so you would need to climb back up. Much of the Atlantic coast of the U.K. has lovely clear water and white sand beaches. There are many lovely ones in West Wales and the West coast of Scotland and the Western Isles as well. Happy travels to you.

      You were very lucky to be able to do that!! I personally think Cornwall is stunning and 2 weeks felt like a very short time while I was there - need to go back for sure! I actually didn't know you could walk from Porthcurno Beach during very low tides, so thank you for that information too :) I am excited to keep on exploring this amazing region of the world :D Wishing you a wonderful weekend!!

    Hey Daniela, I love the way your vlogs are edited. I wanted to know: how do you usually travel between places? For example, to a beach like this one, did you go by bus, doing hitchikking or driving? Regards from Spain :)

    • @danielazziptrips
      @danielazziptrips  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Dereila, thank you so much for watching and for your kind comment, it means a lot! 🥰❤️ So.... In my case, it depends. I don't like to drive if I am solo so if I am traveling with people we will mostly drive, but if I am solo I will take public transportations (train, bus...). But my favourite way of traveling solo is mostly bicycle so I will cycle if I can (rent a bicycle or travel with mine if possible). I have not done hitchhiking as I would rather not do it solo I guess, although I ended up going on stranger cars in many occasions 🤣🤣
      Love your country and I can't wait to explore it more!

      @@asyaborisova1417 hi there! There is certainly a risk associated with taking a baby to this beach. If you would be going with someone else that can help you, then it would be easier, but have in mind that the last bit, just before you get to the sand, you have to jump quite a bit and there's always risk of slipping on the rocks as they get quite slippery. So while you could... I wouldn't recommend it.

    • @danielazziptrips
      @danielazziptrips  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Of course you can, I don't see why not. Tbh, people in Cornwall (from my experience and others, including British people who do not live there) do tend to be a bit more "exclusive" and might not be pleasant to the visitors who live elsewhere. I was treated differently in some occasions during my trip and I am white. But this beach in specific is quite secluded and most people are really just minding their own business - there's nudists on site too.
      But just to let you know, I have also met some wonderful people in Cornwall, so I guess it depends of who you find.
      I will never understand why people have to tread others differently based on their skin colour or nationality when in the end we are all really the same, just with different cultures, religions, languages and beliefs. No one is better or worse than others.

      I agree the Hebridean beaches are indeed very lovely but you get far more rain and poor weather. Cornwall has a much better climate, and more often to enjoy their fantastic beaches.
