Thank you for posting this.. I could listen to Jerry Mathers all day... love him. Love Leave it to Beaver.. it truly never gets old, I watch everyday!! :) They don't make TV shows like they used to unfortunately.
to "iwshlcldstrtover".. no, you're not the only one who might weep when you watch these episodes.. I get that way to. It WAS a better time then, not perfect, no period of time ever is, but it's significantly worse when morality is abandoned for the profane, which is where we are today. I loved the programing of those days. Will we ever "come back home," as it were? I pray to that end.. if not, we will have only ourselves to blame.
One thing I would love to ask Mr. Mathers, when he watches the many Leave It To Beaver episodes, is, do any of them make you cry after watching them, when you remember back how things were when you made them, compared to how horrible and immoral things have become? Some times I think I am the only person in this world who cries when I watch some of these episodes. Things were so much different back when these were made. Thanks
I thought it was supposed to be because of the way he mispronounced words like "hamblurgers," but he only did that in one episode, so maybe this makes more sense.
I've loved THE BEAV for 56 years, and I'll die a fan!!!

@IwshIcldstrtover Yes, I know. Seriously, you could not know how drastically The World has changed in the last 50 years.
A merchant marine named Beaver? I wonder what he was into?
