    Colonial cousins here from Northern Canada, you even have a similar clipped accent.
    We don't have trotters so much as a mix between pork knuckles and the ankle. Up here we toss them in a pan to crisp the skin up before we boil and then broil them with braise of their own juices and a last high heat of spiced honey and maple to make the skin really crisp.

      Those ham hocks looks so damn good the aromatics that you put in the spices you put in I could grab me a piece. The sound of it bubbling and then the sound of the frying have to tell you you made it look absolutely scrumptious. And I think it was the first time I’ve ever seen anybody put brown sugar in it was so rich you were right about that and of course your incredible sauce. So until the next time and there’s always a next time I will say goodbye but I know who’s coming over next have a great day❤️

However I would like it better coming from you. I would love too have the crispy crunchy kind. Please let me know , please respond to my request if you find the time. This is Teressa, from Michigan. Tell your mother that her sister sends her the love of Jehovah ! I also hope you receive the desires of your heart in Jah great name ! Thank you so very much for your response. I don’t eat beef. Can I prepare ham hocks like oxtails to get a similar feel? Is there another non beef alternative to rival oxtails?

    • @AdrianCookingFoodReview
      @AdrianCookingFoodReview  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Turkey necks is very good oxtails alternative in Jamaica we call it ghetto oxtails. Ham hocks are similar in texture like cow foot or so on because of the chunk of skin and fat

    Tell your mom you're right and she's wrong. Pig Trotters have little ( or no ) meat on it and is literally pig foot. In Jamaican supermarkets you can find them differentiated.
