I want a Stelvio, but with the gold mags and gold cylinder heads, and the aviation color scheme, and electronic suspension

Plastic display units with a horrible start up display.
All modern bikes have lost proper dials. It use to be part of the appeal looking at nice set of clocks?

115hp? In 1994 the Ducati 916 was the balls....
    Made 114.....
    Come on!
    How much do you need?
Better question, how much can you actually use?

I’m 2022 GS 1250 Triple Black owner, and I think this bike is very good looking.

Good looking bike. The Mandello ascetic translates nicely to the more ADV look of the Stelvio.

Some metric numbers would be good. I like the bike, power/tq are plenty.

I'm not sold on it yet, but mainly because the design is new for Moto Guzzi. I currently have a 2022 v7 classic, but really like the 2024 V85 TT. The new model tt comes standard with bigger dash, tubeless tires, cruise control (not sure about heated grips), and the higher output air cooled v twin I love on the v7. I know it is an older design, but so am I. I'll keep an open mind, though, as it will be another year before i'm ready to trade to what will probably be my last bike.

Test rode this at bike week. Having owned two Guzzi's (a V85tt and a California Vintage) I can say that this is probably a more "refined" goose than either of those examples I've cited...Also, I've test ridden the v100 mandello (being a sports touring rider myself) I must say that this bike I found to be more comfortable...I'm sure the ergos have to do with it...but I will agree with Mr. Scaysbrook...with that price creep with what should be standard (these days) is a little off putting

A good friend of ours is a Piaggio dealer ,Guzzi, Aprilia, Vespa and soon Ducati. He loves his new Mondello. He says his three mile commute ends up being fifty miles at least. No Stelvio’s yet but he can’t wait.

Now every bike has to have a computer with 50 different ride modes to adjust to power delivery, every pebble in the road, every curve in the road, every rain drop on the road, every degree change in temperature, cruise control sensitivity, braking sensitivity, suspension sensitivity, etc., etc., etc.
There isn't any so-called "ADVENTURE" in any motorcycle like this. You're riding a computer that just so happens to have a gasoline engine.
Some how, when we didn't have all this garbage, we we're smarter, better riders because you USED YOUR OWN BRAIN to adjust to conditions and control the motorcycle.

      YES.
      Its offputting to me.
Do not want any of it.

They're a niche product and then they still nickel and dime you for features instead of including is in the base price. The low base price without features looks great in the marketing but the true story is not such a fairy tale. They need to bake in value if they want to increase their sales. Oh well. Never a bike I'd consider. No compression damping adjustment either? What a shit pile.

BMW's don't have drive line lash dude. That was eliminated in the 1990's. I have a 2000 year model R1150 GS and it doesn't have it at all. So I am not sure where you got that from. In fact I recon you may not have been born when they still had it.

Why would they sell an adventure bike which gets lower fuel economy yet has a smaller fuel tank than the V85TT?

Shame about the gearbox and weight. Both are dealbreakers for me. Hopefully in a few years with the updated model it will have improved.

These oversized quasi dirt bikes are sooo dumb / Just put 17” wheels front and rear and decent street tires. These bikes are ass on trails

    • @BuffaloweRider
      @BuffaloweRider 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

Agreed, they're pushing "adventure bikes" like they're sports bikes. Anything over 50hp in the true off road, too much, anything under 50hp on the road is too little. Anything over 120hp on 2 wheels on public roads is insane. Pick a niche and run with that.

      Tend to agree.
All I ask is dirt roads, gravel and the occasional grass meadow and reasonable stability on these surfaces at reasonable speeds.
      Thinking Hard about the Stelvio.
      BEAUTIFUL too.😘

Guzzi will lose a lot selling the way you described. I always liked the earlier Guzzi's but looks like greed is taking over.

Radar Cruise Control is the WORST thing manufacturers can do to motorcycles! If you want your bike controlling how you ride, then buy one of these bikes--total deal breaker for me. At least it's an option that you could leave off. I do like this bike--great review.

Silly comment. When I ride across the US I probably adjust the CC hundreds of times to adapt for traffic speeds on interstate highways. ACC solves that safely.

Steve is absolutely correct. If I want to slow down, I’ll slow down. If I want to speed up, I’ll speed up. I do not want the bike doing either for me.

The design language is not Guzzi. This will be a failure when it comes to sales

    •  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

hello! why do you say this? this is the new language introduced with the Mandelo. Still the same "engine configuration", the axle, the front light with the eagle...
