Something Deon does that almost no one else does is he gives you just enough setup that you can get to the punchline in your head, then he pauses to let you get to it yourself, then he says it. He gets you to laugh twice at the same punchline, and you feel smart for getting there first. Only other comic I’ve seen do it is Stewart Lee.
