- Project 141 was a very important milestone for the French tank industry. The first attempts to design a new universal combat platform date back to 1945, but the work took 13 years to complete. In time, the vehicle developed through that project received two more names: the M4... and the one that most people know today - the AMX-50. In War Thunder, tanks of this series can be found at Rank 4 and Rank 5 of the French tech tree. Today we’re going to discuss their playstyle, which is unorthodox but effective nevertheless.

@@mixx5555 Yeah, F Gaijin I just want to play my country, it’s not my fault if almost the only people who play France are good at the game, nobody inexperienced want to play them anymore after so much nerfs, but because only the good players play France now, they base on stats and nerf them.

Good thing its kinda useless at 7.7 now. The Lorraine 40T is the same BR and basically better in every way.

Gaijin: don't show you side angles on your front plate, your sides and your lower turret so make sure not to show any of your armor when shooting at someone!

The back of the turret if those AMX clearly can store more ready rounds. You guys even model it in, but why only 7? They should be able to have more first stage ammo as you keep pushing them up the BR

The AMX M4 is my favourite, its oretty tough and bites hard, i even withstood several hits from a tiger i was crashing into hoping go push him off the edge since he got my gun, wich he eventually went over and drowned in the rivers of eastern europe, such an amazing tank

Easily out of all the AMX-50 T0A100 is the best of the bunch in my opinion
The 4 second auto loader is incredibly powerful especially considering the caliber and penetration of the rounds.
Great mobility
Decent survivability as well make this my joint favourite tank in game, only rivalled by the T-34-85D5T
try the SOMUA SM better in every way except in top speed

I haven't played much with French vehicles yet, but I've learned to respect AMX-50s. In the hands of an experienced player, those tanks are very dangerous.
I don't know why, but people who play France always seem to be very good at the game. I seldom see a french player not in the top 10-20% of the team
The art of winning? More like art of suffering to heatfs and atgms
The art of winning with the AMX-50: don't get shot. Seriously. Armor is paper thin. How to not get shot? Don't move and shoot. Yep, if you try to shoot on the move, you're as good as dead. The oscillating turret in this game is so badly modelled that it acts as a freaking yoyo: the gun will go up and down for a good 20 second before being near to usable to shoot with it. Usually, an enemy tank will have the time to shoot you, reload and then shoot again before you can bring your gun on target. If he hasn't killed you by then, he totally deserved to get shot back. So all AMX tanks up and until the AMX-30 need to be used as ambush tanks ONLY. Really! Move fast and stop BEFORE seeing any enemy tank (preferably flanking). Let your allies take some hits after passing you by if need be. It's ok. Then shoot whatever comes at you. NEVER play aggressively. Position aggressively but play static. That's the true secret of winning with French tanks from 3.7 to 8.7.
I hope people boycott the price increase of premium vehicles. $70 for a the Intruder is RIDICULOUS.

It's nice, but it's time to improve the game experience. How and with what?
For example, with such options
battleground - Settings - arcade tank battle:
3 checkpoints - yes/no
2 checkpoints yes/no
1 checkpoint yes/no
night battleground yes/no
battleground selection of tracks arcade tank battle - .....
Unfortunately, there are fewer and fewer pre-players, but there are more and more BOTs, so at least these options should be included.
Since the team I play with only uses the normal 3 checkpoint battle.
If we get something else, we leave it.

there should be Naval AB battle with Fleet carriers Aircraft carriers protects by destroyer light or heavy cruiser and battleship .players can take off and land in Aircraft carriers during game objective destroy fleets carriers. Naval aircraft or bomber can only use during battle

How do you play Sweden in ground RB throughout the ranks? Is there any specific play styles to go for?
Up to 2.7, take the light tank. It is surprisingly bouncy. Use apds... at higher tier, keep your distance.
@@carsamba0055 at 5.0? what do i do then, Caus all i hear on how to play sweden is either up to 2.7 or high tier with the strv 120 series. What about 5.0, if you know
@@Niko-dx8tq 5.0 is ok I recommend grinding for the ikv 91 but the grind is hell especially in 7.7 all repair costs are pretty much 7k per tank.

So basically the foch is your typical soviet tank (at least in terms of depression and reload speed) , and I think it's funny how half of the tanks of this very "french" series look almost like/are copies of german ones. There is a certain irony in it.

These are german tanks, but twisted, mixed with american guns and even soviet engineering novations (talking about 120mm gun and Surblinde's "nose"). IMO this is a great reason to like them.

only if they are static in ambush. Otherwise, they are extremely easy to kill as they have little armor and extremely unstable guns with poor optics. And no shells with explosive filler either.
