      candy for galar starters began when they came out, not long ago. some gen 1 and 2 starters are in the wild, but nowhere near the amount of galar starters, from what i have seen. catch some, resources arrive with time.

    This is the kinda ressources I've been looking for. Nice. Hope people will stop sleeping on this feature so we can get more ressources on it. I feel like the "tanking hits" pokemon is really important. Like Blastoise will be of much more use now than it is in regular raids/battles.

      I was searching for the ‘CP vs Max Level’ answer for a while to no avail… So I had to figure it out myself! Definitely need more people taking it seriously, because I think it may slowly replace raids…

      Same. I really hope the "10 - 40" trainers line was mostly a marketing strategy. It certainly has people talking, and I'm sure there's a lot of people trying to convince friends to come out to help.

      @@PokeeSeanGO Indeed, I know legendary raids are set to 20 max and most can be duo'd of those, so I'm hoping this means you only need 4 people with good counters. Or that they did a scaling thing where the boss has more health the more 4-man groups are made. Or even better. That they did the harry potter wizards united thing where you just join a world wide lobby. But I doubt that.

    • @PokeeSeanGO

      The world wide lobby system is absolutely how remote raids should work, at least. Would be great to select a remote pass, choose a boss, and enter a lobby with other remote raiders. Not that I do many remotes.
      Campfire has a feature for hosting and joining raids, but I haven’t actually tried it. Maybe I should look into it. 😛

    Dumb question, how do you know when it’s level 30?

    • @PokeeSeanGO

      The cost for the next Power Up will be 5000 stardust. Each time you press the + when powering up, it goes up by .5 of a level.
      A Pokemon caught at a Dynamax Battle will be level 20, so you'll need to press the + button 19 times to reach level 30.

    • @PokemonBigSad

      That’s not a dumb question at all; the level of a Pokémon isn’t directly stated anywhere in the game!

    • @PokeeSeanGO

      Very true. It would make communicating about Pokémon level so much easier if they just put it in the game.
      My only guess is that they want to conceal it because Pokémon can go to level 100 in the main series, but currently only 50 in GO. That may seem weird to some players, I guess.

    Great! I’m indecisive what to power up and/or optimistically imagine a hundo is around the corner so hold off.. so always have a few million dust but as a new player candy can be limiting. I leveled up moves of the first mons cos I wasn’t gonna do much else with wooloo etc candy but for the rest was not sure how to prioritize. Could duo the beldum and falinks without fully evolved and maxed mons but I’d like to be able to solo those and get ready for the gigantamax so this is very useful.

    • @PokeeSeanGO

      I usually have plenty of stardust as well now that I basically have my raid teams all set. I don’t do a ton of PvP, so I rarely power anything up, and still don’t have Pokémon over level 40.

    • @asvegas777

      @@PokeeSeanGO haa i find it so interesting how people play. My friend who’s level 31 or 32 is constantly running out of stardust cos feels he has to max stuff. Me I only have cheap stuff powered up (Sylveon, Melmetal, etc) and not maxed yet in the XL slog. But I don’t feel any hurry since I don’t try to solo raids. For PvP I do a little on and off and kinda like it but I’m still new. I like the limited cups everyone seems to hate cos I can learn easier from smaller meta/movesets and at low cost. Normally don’t touch master league but I have a few mons im best buddying so had been tanking for buddy hearts lately but today battled a few sets and got a Gyratina on the third! I like the rewards mainly don’t take it too seriously :))

    • @PokeeSeanGO

      I spent a lot of stardust early on, not realizing the best strategy when you’re under level 30 is to just keep catching stronger stuff to use. I have a whole beginners guide written now - just need time to make the video.
      In PvP, I tried to go for 500 wins this season, but the competition gets intense and I’m not nearly good enough to get 6 wins a day in a reasonable amount of time 😛

    • @asvegas777

      @@PokeeSeanGO yeah I wasted resources too at first too. Game has so many different details that take time to figure out. The beginners guide sounds like it would be useful!
      Indeed PVP gets hard quick! Things can change fast even from day to days sometimes. I get discouraged when it gets too hard and end up tanking. I usually know when I get start to get matched with people bringing like a Vaporeon to master league it’s back to being able to win easily again lol… (the easy part matters to me as I also have chronic pain and even though mobile games don’t trigger it nearly as much as computer use or console gaming, I don’t wanna take this part of the game too intensely)

    • @PokeeSeanGO

      Holding the phone does get pretty fatiguing after a while. Definitely need to do some hand stretches!
      I haven’t even touched Master League. I might challenge myself to build a non-legendary team for it and see how it goes, though. Next season I’ll probably stream a bit of PvP, once I get things set up for that.

    i somewhat have an issue with evolving stuffs to their final stage knowing it had an exclusive move or will get them in the future for good ivs primarily as i have a hundo scorbunny and sobble currently and i left them at stage 2 evo and is very hard pressed on spending dust on any other lesser ivs...if push comes to shove i guess i gotta pull the trigger on a lesser iv ones preferably lucky as u elaborated on its cheap-ness hmmm. nice vid bro!

    • @PokeeSeanGO

      I feel the same way. I’m only justifying it to myself by knowing I already have everything I need as far as my regular raid teams go, and Dynamax is just a different system. Considering it’s the fast move type that gets counted toward the Max Attack, I’m a little less bothered by it.

      And a Gengar, for good measure. Most people probably have enough Gastly candy to make at least one decent Gengar
      For Metagross, I'd only do it if you have the candy to spare. It had a com day classic in August, so if you wait to evolve Metang until December's com day, they'll get Meteor Mash.
      Could just power up a Metang with a Psychic fast attack, though, and use it against Gmax Venusaur.

    How do you get all the candy for the pokemon? I sometimes have trouble finding more of the same!

    • @PokeeSeanGO

      Use a Pinap Berry on anything you want extra candy for, and for now you can do 3 or 4 Dmax Battles for the Galar starters. The Galar starters are still in the wild, but not as common as they were at the beginning of the season when they were in an event.
      Make one your buddy as well to get that bit extra when walking, and be sure to leave them at Power Spots after max battles so they earn some candy when others use that Power Spot.

    • @PokeeSeanGO

      Try to evolve and power up one of each of the Galar starters. Charmander will be harder to get candy for right now.
      The Galar starters are in the wild, though somewhat uncommon. If you can get to Max Battles, use Pinap berries when catching them for some extra catch candy, especially next week while the bonus for Halloween is active: 2x catch candy. That will be 12 candy per catch if you use a Pinap berry.

    • @PokeeSeanGO
