@@Mr_T_Badger From what I've heard on the matter, Ancel's degree of control was a major part of the problem -- he was obsessive about his vision and abusive toward the developers working beneath him, and the project's subservience to his whims and demands resulted in missed deadlines and cost overruns that caused a large part of the record-breaking delay over the last decade and a half (it officially beat out _Duke Nukem Forever_ last year, which ought to show how much faith folks should place in the game's completion). He'd've been sacked _ages_ ago if he wasn't such close pals with Ubisoft's CEO, which says a lot about the kind of corporate culture over there, frankly. I played Recore via the Gamepass on PC recently. Very accrate review. The story could have been fleshed out so much more. I guess development took too long or there was pressure to release early. The point about bad structuring of this game really hits the spot. Play some hours, see minimal cutscenes with almost no story development, run into the boss wall with the feeling the game just started, and it's done. the rest is just an empty, giant world with unused assets (at least in the main story line) for players with sufficient stamina to play through every dungeon.

Was really excited for ReCore and I still want to play it, but I'll at least try not to get my hopes up.
I lost interest at 0:37
The only way you'll get Win10 on my computer is stepping over my rotting corpse.
Yahtzee should do a review of every American dish he tries for the 1st 6 months he lives here.
"I am about to try a... 'Jalapeno, steak, and cheese Hotpocket'. May god have mercy on my rectum." and so on.
You live in America now? Oh, you poor sod.
I get that he hated Australia, but I expected him to at least move somewhere more than a Little better
whats with all the hate for America?
You know Yahtzee this is literally the worst timing you have to move to the states.
For someone who makes fun of our politics this much, its odd that he decided to move here.
apparently his gf lives there + i suppose it's worth risking your neck for better internet.
don't forget cheaper games
Not to mention "earlier" games since the industry forgets Australia exists.
Cheaper games + better Internet + Sex = Yatzee
It's kind of like watching a house burn down.
Sure, you could watch some clips of it on the news, but it's more entertaining to walk down and watch it in person.
I still need to play this.
Psssh. Don't go to America. Come on down to Aussie land! It's great!
CongaHoovy I should probably point out he moved from Brisbane.
2:23 I get so mad when people say they're not hungry after offering them food, and even offering to buy them something. Just so they can ask if they can have some fries. -.-
wait you live in the states now? traitor!
lordpolvo probably in the hopes of there being another saints row that he can actually buy without going to a speak easy.
Second only to Japan if you're a gamer... Australia is **** expensive :|
Does it look like the robots look like the huntress from risk of rain
Heyyy, my man moving to the states, welcome. Check what little sanity you have left at the door because these next four years are gonna be fucking CRAZZZZYYYY.
3:40 gotta love that movie
Glad Yahtzee's getting some well-deserved subs recently.
Hey Yatzi mate which state did you move to I'm sure we would all love to know it looks like either Colorado or California from the map you posted
