With the Kramer Jersey Star, seen here in a gloss Alpine White finish, you get a welcome return of a an iconic 80s rock guitar - originally an homage to the 1980s Rich Sambora signature Kramer, but now a superstar in its own right.
As you can tell Dagan (and ourselves) are very excited that Gibson are giving Kramer the love and attention they deserve to get them back at the forefront of shred guitar!

One look at this guitar, and most players will be able to tell you what era it would have originally belonged in - and it's easy to see why.
Thanks to the combination of Star fret markers, Gold hardware, a Floyd Rose tremolo, and that classic Jersey Star logo on the body, this guitar would certainly fit right into the setup of an 80s arena rock band.

Bon jovi is literally the greatest thing ever to happen like I wouldn’t be anywhere near the person I am today without them and their music, p.s. Richie sambora’s solo in the song bed of roses is the whole reason I started playing 😂

I always want a Jersey star back in the 80s they just look cool.
I did not realize that they did a remake until a month ago when I seen the red Jersey Star.
After checking them out, I brought a white Jersey star . It sound great .
I knew I really liked this guitar for some good reason..sounds amazing dude.

i have a 2004 Music Yo Jersey star with the maple body. epic guitar.
I have one from the original JS production run from 2004. They were part of the USA line. Mine had some serious build quality issues that after a long time finally got fixed under warranty. The necks on those mid 2000 USA models were like baseball bats. I paid a little extra to have mine recarved so it is a little slimmer and more closer to a vintage Kramer feel.
After all the warranty rework and the recarve of the neck it is a massive improvement. Even the tone is better. The guitar had a laundry list of issues. I hope this new line is better quality. The JS and RS Kramer guitars are super versatile and have a ton of different tones in them

im a full kramer guy now .. my first was a baretta special which i modded with a jb, new graphtech nut and mxr style knob (nod to king ed) , new truss rod cover (once i got it set up i was like WOW best feeling neck i own it roars)... then i wanted a flying V so i saw kramer made the alien tech green Dave mustaine vanguard so i bought that!! now those are my 2 favourite and best sounding guitars.. that vanguard tho man is amazing its like a king v but kramer, and such a badass guitar all metal no compromise type guitar

I heard that 8 of these guitars were stolen right off the dock at the factory, brand new - when this model was first released and they are still unaccounted for?? The serial numbers have never shown up in resale??? Any truth to this?

Found one at a garage sale last year. Didnt know quite what it was and not big on gold hardware. Or the stars (im a thrash guy) So i passed. Then i realized what it was, how much their worth, and been kicking myself a bit since. Think she wanted like 6 or 700 for it. She had no clue what all she had she was just trying to get rid of her ex'es home luthier shop he had in the basement
So with all these pickup combinations, you can't do a single coil in the neck for something like Bed of Roses or Damned?
You can Split the humbucker and than IT sounds Like a singlecoil!
No, the hummie in the neck position has no split…
only bridge and middle have a separate split function.
In my humble opinion it would be more useful to have a split in the neck pos. because neck hummies tend to sound more bassy…but anyway.

I mean he’s using a Peavey head here; I guess the Blackstar cab does the job fine. It can respond to a variety of tones and it’s a big, heavy piece of kit so they can’t drag it in and out every 5 minutes.

Most of them were made in Japan by ESP, even those with the ‘made in the USA’ status.
USA is obsolete.
The Kramer 84 sounds better.
