CONDOR Premium Economy/ International Flight Review/ New Airbus 330-900NEO/ Is it worth the money?

The flight began boarding passengers on time without any delays or surprises. The boarding went well and smoothly and now let's see what Condor airline greeted us with.
I got into my seat and began to browsing through the goods that were provided to us for the flight. They included a light blanket with a soft pillow, a set of goodies that included cute striped socks, toothpaste and a little tooth brush, and a night mask. We were also given crackers snacks and a nice big bottle of water upon take-off.
It’s really good they gave us a generous bottle of water because during the flight the flight attendants didn’t tried too hard to bring us water, so it came in very handy.
Now let’s talk about the most important thing that is necessary for a comfortable flight: a seats. Condor's Premium Economy seats have more legroom than standard economy seats, and they are pretty comfortable. They also have adjustable footrests And to be honest, my first impression was quite pleasant.
the Economy Class has a seat pitch of 29.9 inches (76 cm), 4-way adjustable headrests and 8.5° degrees tilting backrests. while Premium Economy Class has a seat pitch of 35 inches, (89 cm), 6 way adjustable headrest, and relax at an angle of up to 12° degrees in the backrest.
This is the case when five inches play a big role.
In addition to a USB A/C connection and socket for each seat, there is also a separate holder for mobile devices. You can listen to the latest generation of
inflight Entertainment is extensive and you can use on either your own wireless headphones via the Bluetooth function or standard on-board headphones provided before takeoff and watch it on your 13.3"' in-seat 4K monitor.
As you would expect, the Premium Economy Class also offers you the practical holder for your mobile devices, the new USB A/C connections and the Bluetooth function that enables you to use your own wireless headphones, not forgetting the addition 13.3" in-seat 4K monitor, which offers you the latest generation of Inflight Entertainment.
Right before takeoff, the flight attendants offered us champagne and presented a special menu for premium economy class.
I want to note that I had a roundtrip with Condor and each time the menu was different.
I won't delve into the culinary specifics of the onboard food, but I can say that everything was quite tasty, and the dinner was both complete and satisfying.
Six hours into my flight, I found myself unable to sleep despite my best efforts. Thirsty and craving a snack, I waited in vain for a flight attendant to come by. Eventually, I decided to make my way to the back of the plane where the flight attendants were taking a break. I asked them for a coffee and some snacks, and i was informed that I would need to purchase them.And so Condor airline charges a fee for snacks and drinks during the flight, with a list of purchasable items displayed on the monitor. It is the first time I've encountered this on a long flight, as other airlines usually provide complimentary snacks and beverages.
Two weeks later, on my return flight to the United States from Frankfurt, I'm once again in premium economy class. However, this time the plane was not as clean as my initial flight. Items for the flight were scattered untidy on the seats, and food crumbs from previous passengers littered the floor. My food tray was visibly dirty, clearly not wiped down before the flight.
I received another portion of organizers and other little things for the flight, and before departure we were given a menu that was completely different compared to the previous flight. As on the previous flight, the food was quite good and tasty.
In the end, i want to admit that despite some minor service issues, the flight was smooth and pleasant. I'm very glad I chose premium economy class, and if you have the opportunity, I highly recommend upgrading. I wish you a good flight wherever you may be traveling. Of course, I was a little bit disappointed with the service during the flight, so next time I will definitely take a Snacks with me in my bag so as not to get into a situation where they are only offered for money on the plane. You cannot compare Condor with Lufthansa, Austrian or Swiss. Condor is considered a leisure airline, which is why you have to pay for snacks, for example. And as a leisure airline Condor concentrates more on the in-flight sale of food and drinks than Lufthansa and co for example. This is the explanation for the "snack drama". 🙂
That's crazy that in premium or even in basic economy , you have to pay for snacks or non-alcoholic drinks. Other airlines for international travel, gave snacks, and even alkohol.
Exactly! I was shocked when she told me that I had to pay for the snacks. Moreover , she became somewhat aggressive when i said that other airlines do not charge for snack on the international flights. And she refused to bring me coffee until 2 hours before landing. She said that coffee had not been brewed yet and they would start making it before the breakfast. Ridiculous!
@@HonestOpinion-a_b_o_u_t I am worried because I bought my cousin a flight from Europe to USA and back .. and there is no e-ticket number. I purchased the flight from expedia and I called them and was told that Condor does not issue an e-ticket which is weird. I need to call Condor but from your own experience, do you remember if you had e-ticket number? I am asking because one time, I almost would have not gotten on the plane because I did not have e-ticket number and I had to call the special nr ( long story) to get this number (but it was not Condor but Lufthansa)

If there's a Premium Economy I can recommend, then it's the Emirates one.
This is 100%. I'm sure that Emirates Airlines' regular economy is much better than Condor’s premium economy 🤣.
we got upgraded for 100 dollars as opposed to paying the full price and our flight is tommorow i watched this to know what to expec6

Thank you for you comment 😊.I agree with you about the service on the plane. The movies, monitors, blankets, and pillows were the same as in economy class. As for the distance between the seats, for me, who is only 5’4”, I could easily travel in economy class. However, for someone who is six feet or taller, those extra five inches would make a pretty big difference on an 11.5-hour flight.
not worth to pay extra I dont understand their mentality they charge for what exactly? the meals are same as economy and seat was the same so what is the point probably the only difference is the menu card lolol fly BA premium its pretty good
