Robert Greene?!? Your podcast is on fire!!! Love this guy's books! They are a perfect mix of education about human nature illustrated with entertaining examples from historical figures and events. They're also completely amoral, Greene's books do not read like lectures about how people ought to behave, just a description of how people actually do behave.

People hate Transparency...and whenever you tell them who you truly are.. they don't believe eg...I have no credentials on the wall...and I share it...People say...why would you tell people that about yourself...I will tell someone i don't love them..amd they say I'm lying. If I broke a glass as a child...I would tell My parents/parent because I always felt it's my responsibility to take actions for My own act...People are AFRAID to feel judged and It's not far fetched.. that it is innately inbedded.
My son made me listen the 48 LAWS OF POWER audio over 9 yrs ago...amd I was GIFTED the Book over 3yrs ago.
POWER IS HIGHLY IMPORTANT to Me...I haven't MASTERED the ART as yet...because I still falter...however I catch Mself quicker NOW.. had I not known the root cause.
ROBERT GREENE... has an INFINITE amount of WISDOM.. . My tiny brain cant Formulate any other words at this moment!

Interested in you reasoning to conduct the podcast in this 'next one, next one' format, rather than a fully conversational way. Not a criticism, just curious. It is definitely more clipable, as there are boundaries on each topic. Could it be that Rob set a predefined time constraint, so to make the most out of the opportunity, this format is a necessity to hit all things your interested in. Either way great job.

... My goal is not to attain status, or a position in a hierarchy.... my goal is optimal positive substantive interaction. Interaction with everything. People, the Earth, ideas, my work, tools, animals, plants, the internet, everything.

    Super !
I recommend to read if possible the letters George Sand wrote to her daughter.
People, maybe, should read "La Comédie Humaine " de Balzac because in this novel you've got everything you have to know about the human behaviour, the societal codes and the masks we are compelled to wear in a coping mechanism. I'm not pitted against living as if there was nothing amiss in the human behaviour but I know that my mind if I'm not vigilant can be entrapped in the big societal vampire.
It's okay for me now to be nobody, nothing, a feather blown by the wind. I create what I need to create in letting go of a specific outcome. Who cares ? As Robert said our existence is ephemeral and when we'll die who'll care ?
Thank you both from France 👋 🇨🇵

Power is controlling/understanding the EGO! Enjoying the lessons along the way to wisdom! They’re going to present themselves - enjoy the opportunity to learn and grow in the moment- The more you grow, The less you knew before. Accept, process and move on (:

Why is the interviewer so rude and smug, Robert Greene is legit a legend and this guy acts extremely rude how he cuts him off and loudly rushes him to the next question

He's following a format my guy.
Watch his most recent interview with Dr Peterson. I personally love this podcast because it's a legit interview. Hard questions will be asked and the words WILL flow accordingly. It capturied your attention which means your definitely brilliant in your own right. That's his pattern. Robert understands what's happening and knew full well what he was getting himself into. Challenge accepted.

I wonder if the fact that its very unlikely that we’re here, considering all the multitude of probabilities of what could have been and what is, is indicative of the fact that fate does exist, thoughts?
