This kind of video/content is what gives the most anxiety because it leverages ignorance, incompetency and biases to make people believe very firmly - meaning that it's gonna be extremely challenging to undo - that some things are fixed and cannot be changed.
Great, eye-opening, and encouraging interview. When I feel envy I try to transform it to inspiration. I prefer surrounding myself, if it’s only so “virtually” or by books and literature in certain times, with people who are/appears much more courageous, insightful, wise and talented than myself. See others as positive motivation and drive, and sometimes I can relate to potentials in me, or obstacles, to what I want to achieve. And the feelings of envy grows weaker; when I acknowledge it I can also let it pass and transform to something positive-inspiration. And then I can feel thankful and joy for the success of others. It is a kind of light feeling; light as in not heavy.
WOW, this is epic information! I will immediately get this paramount book that’s shining light into the most important issue all of us need to control which is our emotions! “WHEN THERE IS NO ENEMY INSIDE THE ENEMY OUTSIDE CAN DO US NO HARM”

Good man - thoughts and prayers for his recovery.
🙏❤️
I'm really glad to see Robert doing well, his recovery has been astonishing! I hope he can break the cycle of exhausting himself at the end of every book, he really can't take another blow like that.
I love this. It's so crazy to me to see how big Valuetainment has got. Its humbling to see from the early stages. Only goes to show if you have quality people will eventually listen.
My favorite interview.
Envy is the one sin that nobody enjoys. 🔥
Robert deserve respect about really sensitive subject, he is amazing
Yes, thanks for having him back on Valuetainment! Hopefully Robert is well recovered from his stroke.
Listen those 2 guys and never lose a battle.
or a war ;)
Thats true af
I sure wish I could have got this info back in high school!
Pride always comes before the fall.
What if your opponent also listened to these two guys?
Listening to this interview with Robert Greene gives me the same chills that I felt when I listen to Jordan Peterson's lectures on Personality and Maps of Meaning.
I absolutely love this interview. Just got his book and audible by mid way of the interview. I really need to build foresight like that and be able to articulate people's strength and weaknesses like that. His calm demeanor is everything, I can't wait to jump in and read

As music Producer / Entrepeneur I can recommend Robert Greene more than anyone else ! I feel like im at 7 million plays on Spotify mostly because of him..
Thastor lmao at that subtle flex. Congrats though
20:00 He's talking about Sean Rad, former CEO of tinder.
@@k_6946 Im a music producer i would flex 100x more if i had 7m streams on spotify not even gonna lie lol
I love Robert Greene
I love mushrooms!!!!

Who else wishes Robert Greene was their uncle 💯💯🔥

Would prefer husband but alas, sorry girls he’s taken 😐
I want him to be my friend.
Hell, I wish he's my father.

Knowing everyone is putting on an act isn't that difficult to comprehend but this knowledge makes you know that they are not what they seem. All our idols have feet of clay.
It's so cool to see that someone who didn't have power for a long time during his life is having lots of power now.
Patrick, the way you phrased the question at 13:00 was beautiful and accurate. Never heard someone describe identity crises like this, not sure if Robert understood the question
This is a beautiful conversation. Led me to so many breakthroughs about myself and becoming so much more aware of thy self. Mastery has changed my life and inspired me to think about the world from a whole different perspective and I’m only 15 pages deep so far. This conversation shot me light years ahead. Thank you!
I am reading 48 Law's of power meanwhile of this brilliant author thank you Patrick sir and happy Diwali 💫😊
What an amazing sit down with Uncle Pat and Uncle Robert. Thank you both for such a high quality masterpiece.
what i learn from this conversation is that never underestimate person the way they look alike damn Robert Greene conclusion are so damn clear vision and straight forward with wisdom.
Yay! You are everywhere I turn, Mr. Greene. I appreciate the work you are both doing. Thank you to you and to everyone here who is committed to making a great future by being great.
The Man the myth the legend

John Wick reference detected!
Robert Greene needs to become a better actor to convince me that he's not a pedophile.
Elon Musk :)
It's a great book. On numerous occasions I realised "Oh that is me exactly". It certainly increased me self awareness. However, after finishing I feel like I need to re-read it to truly absorb everything it says. I need to make notes!
i would die for a single sitdown with robert greene. the greatest author there has ever been
This interview tells me more about Robert Greene than on his moral high ground position of having the capacity to box people into groups. A highly beneficial material for people who love to control the world around them, my greatest challenge.
Pat, you have been on a roll lately. Robert has been on a media tour lately, promoting the new book, but he has yet to be interviewed by a man of your energy and enthusiasm. Keep up the great work!
From The Westside With Love he is on top of the game!! 📖📖
If people make racist comments about you or talk about your ugly face, DON"T LISTEN TO THEM
God have mercy! Two of my favorite people!!!! Thank you!
I love Robert's work. It's so detailed and well-researched. I've gotten so much out of what I've read of his so far. Now I'm determined to read everything he's written.
I wish I knew this information twenty years ago, never would have wasted time uplifting ''secretly envious type of people''. I am wiser now, never again.
Patrick is so authentic and amazing interviewer. Looking forward to another one with robert.
Love you Robert!!! I wish you all the best! Thank you Pat for having this wonderful person as a guest! I missed him so much. I'm glad he feels much better and we can experience his wisdom!
Edit: I finished 50th law and it looks like I've had it for 10 years, I dont remember when I highlighted so much. It's my Bible!
my dream is to be interviewed by Patrick, as a major success in business and life. In a near future!
Thiago Zanetti I’ll second that
This is a great goal to have for yourself!....go get um 😐
You Can do it.
I have listened to this book in the audio form several times - it is incredibly practical and transformative. Highly recommended!
what did u like the most
This kind of video/content is what gives the most anxiety because it leverages ignorance, incompetency and biases to make people believe very firmly - meaning that it's gonna be extremely challenging to undo - that some things are fixed and cannot be changed.
Robert’s book changed my life.
WOW, this is epic information! I will immediately get this paramount book that’s shining light into the most important issue all of us need to control which is our emotions!
“WHEN THERE IS NO ENEMY INSIDE THE ENEMY OUTSIDE CAN DO US NO HARM”
This is so awesome... i used to be shy, super quiet person, so i pay attention to people, so i develop how to read body language and to understand people..
I was going through a difficult phase in my corporate job..I took inspiration from 48 laws of power. It helped me immensely. I am reading his other books as well they are just awesome.
I disagree with the "nothing you can do" part. It is never too late to change. I have been narcissistic much of my life, looking for approval from outside. I continue to learn to use my vulnerabilities for strength and growth.
Gabrielle Angel Lilly oh the absolute irony
Gabrielle Angel Lilly Even your smile is narcissistic. U better start the work there.
Then you weren't a clinical narcissist just the colloquial term. Narcissism is observable in the brain and induced by trauma.
Translation you are getting older- less attractive.
@@Petarosus Thanks! You are so lucky that is not happening to you. ;)
After I read mastery... I decided to dedicate my life to becoming an mastermind 🧠
James Jones well you can start with learning how to use a and an😂. Proper grammar is a good thing.

Spectacular interview. I'm half way through 33 Strategies of War, but am definitely planning to pick up this new one now.
Robert is an absolute legend, his books will be remember for centuries. thank you Patrick for always bringing on such amazing and inspiring guest your a real G, god bless
They are always thinking what’s on the other persons mind, instead of your own mind, well said
It's nice to see Pate review all of his work , break it down, and invite us for the process. This is one of "There" Best interviews because they bring so much knowledge in a room. This is a blessing of work, knowledge, and experience because it's a piece of the culture that will influence so many people in the future. As always Thank you , going from Read a book a day coming hear when you had 30,000 Subs now a million. This is absolute Gold. Can you break down the interview lol 😂 no need I'm already on it Professor Pat 👏🏾
This book is amazing. It’s a life changer. I read it focusing on my own self development.
Mr. Greene, this is a Superb 📚! My ultimate is 48 Laws of Power, but this a close 2nd😊. Continued neurological full restoration. 💪
The love the way he is clear about topics like this, as most of the times, we can't learn these as we all mask, lie. Its only through art (books, painting, movies), we can gain self awareness faster
Just watching this 4 years later. Great conversation. Robert needs to be on the PBD Podcast.
This was just brilliant, most worthy listening I had in weeks! Acceptance of circumstances as they are is the e best approach in life, most definitely I will buy the book asap...
Thanks Patrick! The time flew while listening
I've been studying his new book since for the past month, it's a masterpiece.
Elon clearly made Robert angry and that’s how we got this book 😏
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nice profile pic (:
Elon musk with the $100B+ right now haha
@@bostoneventlighting794 Elon JUST passed Bill Gates as the 2nd richest person in America, so idk WTF Robert was talkin' about lolol
@@TheUltimateRage I guess he thought he might crash and burn.
I always wondered what kind of person Mr Green would be and always wanted to meet him...Thank you very much for making us meet him virtually via your interview...Gr8 work Dude !
Mr. Bet-David. You are a force for good with your journey into the state of the "human race". Appreciate your work. If you are the "same" online" as in your everyday life, I do not know, but I choose to believe you live what we, the viewers, believe you preach. May you and your family remain healthy and prosperous. With respect, Oslo-Norway
I've seen the frown he speaks of when telling someone about your good news this guy has it all figured out! Good feeling knowing I'm not the only one who noticed these things
He is one of my most favourite of authors who are alive. I pray for him a long life
This kind of information is so addictive..
It’s so fun to listen to intelligent ppl converting
I love Robert Greene.
He was a professor in another life at an IVY League school.
"I'm hoping you get angry every three years" I love Pat's thinking.
He just explained 90% of how people conversations go. I swear I feel like 90% of the conversation me & other people have is using “quotes”/“phrases”
This is great. Thanks Patrick you’re a very good interviewer I was so interested in hearing Robert discuss the toxic types so thanks for guiding the conversation into that. Also Robert if you see this I guess every cloud has a silver lining... that’s a dope cane
By my heart we are grateful to have him in our generation. And upcoming generation are blessed
Best part of this book really is the challenge you have to face of not looking at it & finding where other people are fucked up but actually first starting it off with you & saying why am I fucked up 😂Man loving every part of this journey
