You can put as many bends in a link as you want, what is important is where the attachment points are located. That drag link may have helped against some binding problems, but the bump steer is the same, because it still moves on the same arc.
Just what I was thinking. Doesn’t matter if that rod does a figure 8 if the two points are that far from each other vertically so it’s still going to bump steel when the suspension travels
CASE STUDY IN PLACEBO EFFECT. If you don't change the pivot points of your drag link, you're not going to see any difference. I was LMAO watching this episode. I'm sure you did that on purpose.
I’m jealous. When I was 10 we had a 50 Ford truck with a 52 flathead Mercury in it. But, way back then, it wasn’t a cool old truck: it was just a beater. One piece of advice: you want to live a long time & keep all your bits, so don’t scoff at safety. Best of luck!
Yeah I'm sure finnegan assemblies but doesn't tighten that shorter driveshaft before asking for the next shaft.. Then probably never got Tightened and driven on, you can see the metal Flakes dropping on the go pro 😅
My dad had a 1962 Chevy shorted pickup truck with a four speed and granny gears and a 327 would pull the front tires higher than a 8816 cinder block stood on end...
Here’s a suggestion, why not get rid of that v-drive case and get a SCS drop case that are used in monster trucks and puller trucks and swap out that rear end with somthing from a 1 ton pickup or a gm top kick.
zig zaging the drag link changed nothing. the arc it makes as the suspension travels has not changed. need to fix that triangle. lower the front or the arm on the starting box needs more drop, or do both.
Lmfao yall so late on these free releases everyones alrdy seen every sungle one twice on yt for free elsewhere...MT is dead, go habgout with hoonigan at the bankrupcy lawyers 😂😂😂😂
Can't get enough of Stubby Bob!
now if it only wasnt a cut down episode.......
Finally a free Roadkill show again!! What an honor to still witness this during my lifetime! 😃
It feels good to have it back
The Like ratio is super lame though. Do your part. The least you can do!
It's a shame that this went behind a paywall. Could have been a global mega show if it stayed free to view.

yeah I was scratching my head when he was explaining the drag link :D
They should have asked tony.
That dog ain't gonna hunt
yeah, all the bend is gonna do is keep the heims from binding. The steering is still going to be the same.
I had to come straight to the comments to see if I was going crazy about this. Surprised they didn't already know this.
Stubby Bob's first wheelie was the epitome of ALL cartube channels! I've never been so happy/excited/smiling watching a car build as that moment.
Make it electric!
How could anyone NOT love Stubby Bob?!
I love that dave wears gloves, safety glasses, and open toe shoes
Youd be surprised how automatic getting your feet out of the way of danger becomes if you wear sandals your whole life.
It's been over half a decade since this thing's debut. I was in highschool XD. So happy to see it still a Roadkill cornerstone.
Stubby Bob now and forever.
The laughter of a man who isn't paying for the broken driveshaft.
Well said....

I’m 15 and my first car is a 1950 ford truck rust bucket and I love stubby bob with a passion

I have a 55 Ford dump truck it's all original it runs good
Wow inflation is real went from nickel and dimeing to quarter and dimeing😂😂
Mike and David are the coolest duo I've ever seen!❤❤
Didnt think it was possible for stubby Bob to be any cooler, Love this truck
We all do!
My favorite roadkill machine! LOVE THIS THING!!❤❤
You guy's do what We all Want to do
And that profile of Stubby Bob on the last run is a poster or a t-shirt for sure!

I am always amazed at how hard you two can make me laugh!
The perfect team!

So happy to see stubby bob again
Even had my wife laughing at y'all! Love this show!
Quit chopping up the videos! We want long format!
Long videos only by subscription unfortunately. Their posting shortened segments to You Tube to drum up sales of subscriptions.
They want you to pay for garbage discovery.
MT is dead
I have been watching this since i was teenager, now Finnegan is getting gray hairs theres no way lol and freiburger still looks exactly the same
Love you guys, can't tell you how many nights I went to sleep with an episode playing and dreamed of gasoline powered awesomeness.
Honestly, you'd think that after so many years, and so many broken driveshafts later, they would've found a better transfercase for Bob :D
The driveshaft already knew what it was going to go through so it said I’m not going to do that 😂
The Z tierod doesnt fix the bumpsteer at all. just the binding ends
You guys are nuts! And I love it! Thanks for the entertainment. Keep it up. Be safe!
I know it wasn’t the first, but Stubby Bob will always be OG Roadkill in my heart
I was laughing right along with Finnegan, knowing that this was a crazy adventure
Poor Stubby Bob 😢 MAY HE LIVE FOREVER 🤣🤣🤣!!!!
Stubby Bob is awesome!!
the best roadkill build 🎉🎉
It’s not often a vw shows up on this show. A welcomed sight
thats now how you fix that angle of the draglink
Am I the only one who missed the "getting it out of the impound lot"?
Thanks for pt 2
My dad had a 1962 Chevy shorted pickup truck with a four speed and granny gears and a 327 would pull the front tires higher than a 8816 cinder block stood on end...
i love stubby bob it is the new rotson it breaks with mor carnage
Goodbye Stubby Bob we'll see you in another 5 years😂
It's fun to break stuff!
Welcome back to TH-cam!
Here’s a suggestion, why not get rid of that v-drive case and get a SCS drop case that are used in monster trucks and puller trucks and swap out that rear end with somthing from a 1 ton pickup or a gm top kick.
Cool 😎
The fastest 50mph ever !!!
Mr "ROSTER " TO YOU BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They need to take stubby bob to the dunes

MOAR STUBBY BOB!!!!!
Stubby bob is so cool 😎
Sick asf...
STUBBY BOB IS BACK!!!!!!!
Poor stubby Bob 😂❤
Bob Rocks!
Missed an opportunity to do a burnout on the street or drift bob with the steel rear tires.
Stubborn Stubby
Yeah, I watched this episode around a month ago on Discovery+.
Why the month long wait for TH-cam?
Man... where's part 2? Thus ended too soon 😂
I know its roadkill, but wouldnt some long travel suspension up front help with ride, wherlies and the bendy axle? Just spitballin
Nooooo my heros totally misunderstood how drag links and suspension geometry works!! I love you guys, but that's not good enough.
Well, you guys are doing a little less "hackery" in your old ages. It still looks sorta dangerous but that`s what makes for good TV.
Wait..... Getting it out of Impound???? What did we miss??
Stubby Bob has the worst luck!
The worlds most powerful rototiller.
Id like to see stubby bob do a tractor pull!!!!❤❤❤❤
What front wheels are you running? And where can I get some?
You drove that thing to Arizona?
RVT to the rescue.
7M viewers....
Let's use zip ties...
Aren't we a little beyond zip tie and duct tape?
I hope not. 😂
Finnegan looks rough. Hope it's not health or abuse problems
Is roadkill back on youtube permanently?
Come on guys skat-trak will make you what ever paddles you want.
I've always heard that a Z shaped drag link is a big no no.... why is that?
One of the.
Se guys wears eyeliner. Can you tell which one😅😅
Stubby Bob lives on = 0'yes
Catastrophic failure again , but they met their goal .
What transfer case is that?
you guys broke your yoyo string again
where is the rest of the show, why the cuts?
Kalau di konoha konten mobil nya banyak banyakan mobil dan flexing wkwkwk
never fails to fail, they may need to think about something other than a vdrive. just me though.
zig zaging the drag link changed nothing. the arc it makes as the suspension travels has not changed. need to fix that triangle. lower the front or the arm on the starting box needs more drop, or do both.
Those paddles couldn’t have been more poorly designed
Should've hired you, huh?
Stubby bobb could have done better with just the steel wheels and not adding the stock inner and outer rear wheels.
👏🍻
Could've saved a lot of money n time with some tire chains !!
Wide Stance Welding, Inc.
Very rude , not thanking Lucky for all the hard work he did , I watched him do it !
Swallow your pride and take it to a driveshaft shop.
No need for paddles.
Need to find a find a guy who can cut tires.
Weld up the rear end so it's not a two speed? Or do I not understand how that works????
One of the first comments! Finally!!!!
We don't care
@@LoganHester-1489 happy for you, bud. 👌🏼
