Ok,now I see now that your working on a Gen 1 FJR, it only has 1 bushing under the seal, mine is a 2006 ,Gen 2 with a second bushing below the upper bushing, Yamaha doesn’t sell the special lower bushing driver here in Canada anymore so I made a lower bushing driver out of a 4” length of 2” exhaust tubing cut lengthwise and lined with clear packing tape
I'm struggling to get the bolt back in the bottom of the fork. Is there anything I'm doing wrong? Do I need to make adjustments before trying to refit the bolt ?
Hold the sub-assembly upright and gently wiggle the cartridge inside, holding the plunger within the stanchion. You should hear a "click" when the threaded heel of the cartridge finally falls in place in the tapered bottom piece. Hope this helps.
Hi I am trying to fit new seals and springs on my fjr ,I can see that you fitted 2 bushes ring ,one that goes to the upper piece by hand and one goes to the bottom piece the one required the special tool ,but when I tried to wash the bottom piece a 3rd bush ring came out of it and I got confused.......where this one goes ? My one is gen 2 2007
Not useful because it is not clear what parts you put in to reassamble. Rather than showing the shop you want to give a close look of what you put together. Unless this video is for Yamaha shop mechanics.

Explained with rapid fire military precision including operating mechanical function of the parts No shade tree mechanic here.

Question 1: How to support the front of the bike (exhaust's...)
Question 2: What size Fork Seal Driver kit is needed for the FJR (04)?
Tnx!
I missed - is there moment to remove upper bushing from the outter tube?
O alguien que me pueda ayudar
It's a shame all those seals had to die so he can have grease for his forks!
