I have so many metal hangers form the cleaners and I love making fun things for my plants with them, they are strong but also easy to bend into any shape. Love your ideas!
I just decided to try moss poles and I use some I found on Amazon which are plastic. Really happy to gain some knowledge on how to care for them because it was a bit messy at first. I use the water bottle method and I prefer things already prepared. Thanks again for sharing.
These are great. I made a couple of these on different things too. The embroidery hoop is a great idea. I will try that next. I’ve done dowels, a wire hanger, and a wood stake. I have found if you make a ball with a n amount of twine that will fit through the hoop, it will help keep it from tangling so much if you hold onto the ball. Also so jealous of your beautiful Hoyas. 🪴💜
Thankyou so much for this video. I've been wanting trellis ideas as the moss poles just don't do it for me. Does the jute serve a purpose or is it mainly for aesthetics?
Ive always made my own trellises like you... Im pretty crafty so I always have gear to whip something up haha! When I used the embroidery hoop, I seperated mine first because then I had 2 : ) They seem just as sturdy too with the cord Ive wrapped around it, but do you think keeping them together works better for any reason? More surface for the vines to cling to, maybe? For me I felt the doubled hoop was a bit too klunky for the smaller plants I used it on which was another reason I seperated them. Super great video and what an adorable little furry friend!
I really like both of your Hoyas. The finesonii not sure of spelling the one on the ladder, how long have you had it? Is it pretty easy to care for? Does it grow fast or slow? Thank you for this video!
I’ve had the finlaysonii for about 7-8 months I believe! It went through a good growth spurt of growing pretty constantly but hasn’t put out anymore new growth in a little while! I find that pretty common with most hoyas however.
I will absolutely keep this in mind in the future!!!! Thank you!!! I’m still relatively new & always open & accepting of positive constructive criticism like this. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Absolutely love the hair. No trellis needed!
Your dog and cat were checking out your plant project. ❤

Super great video and what an adorable little furry friend!
I’m curious would you separate the embroidery hoop and then you would have two hoops or is it not sturdy enough?
❤️🪴💚☮️ love the video…can’t wait to make my own trellis❣️
How do you import plants from Thailand?
is the dowels for the trellis 12in or 16in :))
I thought I invented using those wreath forms from Walmart for Hoya trellises?!?!?! Great minds think alike! ❤
My pothos seems to be dyeing after putting a around trellis. What might happen?
Thank you 👍🏻

Nice job, but I would make sure that the ends of the tendrils always point upwards or else they might die back.
What thickness of jute do you use?
Please make more.thank you
I wish you’d backup a little when you film so it’s easier to see what you’re doing. 😊 great otherwise
